They're both good games that are fun to play.
But they are extremely broken in their own different ways.

Yeah, it's a fine game--I don't think it's exceptionally bad compared to previous titles in the franchise and I enjoy playing it plenty.

Also civ V was really broken.

Tradition opener -> steal neighboring city state worker ASAP, if not possible restart -> max tradition + settle exactly 4 cities -> cherry pick liberty policies while waiting for rationalism to become available -> max rationalism -> pick up whatever ideology you want it literally doesn't matter because you've already won the game

There was no room for any strategy outside this meta, like oh you wanted to have fun and NOT go with the policy tree that literally doubles your science per turn? History will remember your knuckle dragging half-apes fondly, the rest of us are going to space, fucker
