Song Number 20: Pursuit ~ Lying Coldly (Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth)
I'm late as shit but whatever. Most pursuit themes in Ace Attorney have a feeling of overcoming great adversity and finally catching the real killer, because you're play as Phoenix and that's what he does. But in this game, you're playing as Edgeworth, who's always on top of the situation and very elegant and intelligent. This is reflected in this theme, which is a very sophisticated, ''i know what i'm doing'' kind of theme. And it's also fucking awesome and makes catching bad guys fun, so it succeeds at that too.
Nothing objectionable here!
There should be an honorable mention here, but I didn't have one prepared because i'm scatterbrained today, that's coming later or tomorrow.

Song Number 8: In The Final (Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story)
This is some really awesome final battle music. It's got a high-stakes, important battle feel to it, everything a final boss theme oughta be. It's also one of those songs that worms it's way into my head all the time no matter how long it's been since I last heard it. This one feels less like a Mario final boss theme and more like Final Fantasy, which is just really cool in my opinion.
And this is from a game about two plumbers stowing away inside a giant ass turtle dragon. Why the hell not?
Also, what is NM doing? Worst play I’ve ever seen.
I can't remember the last N_M post that wasn't bland, unimaginative and lame. Some shitposters are at least somewhat funny. You are the epitomy of the type of poster that nobody would miss if you were to suddenly disappear. You never add anything of value.
I'm guessing you haven't read the game and probably never will? Why even sign up to play?
Song Number 21: Brinstar Depths (Metroid, Super Smash Bros Ultimate Remix)
LOOK AT ME GUYS DAILY UPDATES LOL. This one has a sort of haunting, foreboding feel to it, which makes sense when you think the original song in the game played when you were exploring the depths of an alien planet with all kinds of nasties running around. It's also an epic Violin track and I can always get behind epic violin tracks. Anyway, this is another good remix which improves on the original in a big way while also keeping it's feel.
We're back, boys and girls! Now to have everybody bitch at me for having so many Smash Bros songs!
Honorable Mention 2
Spoiler:
This is a decently fine battle theme that fits the setting of 7, I thinks, but there's a lot of battle themes I like better.

No embed today because this thing sucks. But I am HERE with the updates the masses DEMAND! I put this on the list because it is a very simple but very effective fight theme: It really gets you in the mood to slam around some jokesters twice your size, doesn't it? It also has the added benefit of being catchy and keeping you focused on solving the puzzle of boxers' patterns.
See you again in 90 years!

I never thought they could remix kass' theme into something that is so incredibly bangin', this is actually from the same composer as the grand finale from bowser's inside story among other things
who knew that a video game about fashion could have music so good? well tbh I haven't played this game and only discovered the song through smash ultimate... but I didn't want to include multiple tracks from one game so here it is
Song Number 23: Route 113 (Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald
let me just say that I ADORE the RSE soundtrack, it's probably the best soundtrack on the GBA imo. This song in particular is a very lovely song to listen to while walking through one of the most unique routes in the series, and still retains the feeling of adventure. It also worms it's way into your brain.....very easily.
WILD SPINDA APPEARED!

Still waiting for the first Super Mario Galaxy soundtrack. The song list of that game is in my opinion by a mile the best soundtrack of all video games.
Song Number 24: Beware The Forest's Mushrooms AKA Forest Maze (Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars)
Some songs seem to really define a game and people's love for it despite not being the main theme. This is a prime example of that. My first exposure to this song was a flash animation which added lyrics (SUPER MARIO RPG! THE FIRST RPG THAT'S JUST FOR ME!) but the original is a timeless classic. It feels like a forest theme and can easily weasel it's way into your head as you wander about lost. Definitely one of the most iconic things about this great game.
BTW, Geno for Smash

The ACTUAL Final Fantasy III, not the awesome SNES game which is VI. Anyway, this isn't the world's best RPG boss battle theme but it is pretty damn good imo, it's fast and intense and really gets your blood pumping for some hardcore boss battles against everything from turtles to clouds of dooooooom. As a sidenote: DAMN the Famicom could pump out some tunes.
Also, this game is hard as balls. *dies to random encounter*
