I think TGP is currently in the most dangerous position out of the three of us. I'm risking it a bit currently by defending him the way I am. I don't think Shirou's arguments against him are, like... Good, at all. But Shirou has a knack for getting his way if he really REALLY wants to.

So I would kind of prefer if this day ended sooner than later.

I don't think TGP is critical yet. A few more townie posts, should make the game townread him enough to discourage Shirou. TGP, if you need help, let us know.

I kinda really wanted to not kill Shirou? Like he's very accurate but I think we can navigate a gamestate with him in it.

i would be surprised if norwee kill implicates shirou as scum very hard at all, i think it actually probably on net implicates shirou as town

I think not getting killed could affect his reads significantly
For example, I think he assumes TGP!scum kills him here

I think my main concern is that right now Shirou is the highest-profile player and has painted a thread perception that 'there is scum in Ari/Lucian/TGP' and killing him makes that his legacy
I prefer the potential route that either involves changing Shirou's mind or eliminating him

I also think players like Aubrey/Toto will continue to be low-content slots as long as Shirou and Ari continue to dominate the conversation, which works out for us in the long term

If you go into D2 prepared to be an active presence and pretend to solve the way you'd normally do as town, I believe thread perception of you can change
Shirou is loud but players like CSF/STD/Toto/Aubrey are forming their conclusions independent from what Shirou is arguing

Basically I think Shirou is only as scary as the rest of the thread let's him be. There are enough players at the table who aren't listening to him and even who could see him being scum.

I think under that line of thought, my list of preferred kills comes out to like... giuseppina/Gamma/Norwee/Aristeia
They're the four that seem to be most influenced by Shirou

Remove Norwee for what we talked about and Ari for being a nice mislim option tomorrow, and I think giuseppina and Gamma are both solid kills?

I think on principle Shirou (and Ari) would avoid a shot on one of their closer friends unless they felt it benefitted them
I feel like Gamma might hit the sweet spot between 'plausible kill they'd make' and 'removes anti-us influence'

The last few scum games I've been absolutely terrible at faking reads. I'm having to work rather hard at it here to make it comparable to my usual town solving.

I find it helps to present a thought not fully fleshed out and give it more depth through discussion. Like my current Ari read was me deciding 'yeah if I were town I could plausibly see Ari being scum' and then thinking about why I might come to that conclusion, how strong the read might be, etc. Its the first time I've tried this approach and I'm enjoying it so far!

You could do a story of 'catch-up' overnight and come in with some fresh reads? People like to think scum are afraid to give reads, but as long as it's all stuff you could plausibly think if you were town we can manage it to avoid it having a negative impact on us. I don't know if that's how you'd solve in a town game or not but I could see it improving your position going into D2 if so.
