Spyre has a point here, please only expand on people who you think are scummy. You can still talk about people being town in like one or two sentancesbut don't use a damn wall of text.Spyre wrote:So that giant wall of words was for a town read?

@ Sk I feel I catch bears more often than racoons..but be that as it may.
Re: Ani/Doombunny being opposite alignments, well I'm not so sure. Earlier I felt there was a possible chance of being scum together. I do think it's a valid point, though, that the semantical debate is iffy.
With that said, I think Ani is more likely to be scum. His predecessor's actions were quite scummy, as I've already pointed out, and he's done nothing at all to change my mind. Mostly neutral reads, a vote on Starbuck (granted I feel she's scummy too, which lessens this, it must be said) and not much else.
I'd like to hear more from him before I make my mind up, though, but I'm content at this moment to leave my vote on him.
DJ is lurking or busy, w/e makes no difference as he's popping up with the occasional comment and that's about it.
DJ why are you voting Ani atm?
You seem to think Bunny is scum, if I can read correctly. I'm not really seeing much in post 250, either way, could you explain a little more.are you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?-

250 backs that theory up imo. db seems to be trying to play both sides of the fence with everyone. trying not to step on anyones toes. i don't like it as it seems like an over the top effort to appear "townie".dj wrote:top of my list is doombunny. they seem too polite, like they're trying real hard to please, but that could simply be overzealous town. i'll update when i can.
ani vote is more or less because of his reaction to my "does someone want to garner my vote?" post. i don't think i've played scummy, but the fact that he didn't question me on my motives(as you just have) seemed like a scum reaction.
at this point i am seriously considering switching to doombunny as his play just seems consistently "soft". can't think of a better way to describe it, but he seems to be avoidinganysort of conflict.town 39-32

Wait what? I don't feel as if I've been playing soft. I may have not been playing hard all the time but you can't do that all the time (you certainly haven't) As for post 250, I agreed with Spyre in saying that Shadow was wasting his time (and the peoples who read it) time as well. If agreeing with someone is scummy then how the heck are we supposed to play the game and get a lynch?DJ wrote:at this point i am seriously considering switching to doombunny as his play just seems consistently "soft". can't think of a better way to describe it, but he seems to be avoiding any sort of conflict.-

No. Just no.I don't know what I can say, unless there's something you want me to say.
If you agree with my sentiment that one of you two is scum and you're not sure that doombunny is scum then the natural extension would bethat you are scum.
And the last, well.
Yea, down with this.-

Only got to skim half the thread, and don't have much in-depth analysis, but here's my quick thoughts:
Mordy, Faraday, Doombunny - seem to be actively scum hunting; leaning town on them
Starbuck, Shadowknight - lots of low-content posts, seem to be following people a bit
Kodamma - really jumpy at the beginning; doesn't seem to be scum-hunting at all; did anyone catch his wifom in post 48?
RossWilliams - seems to keep diverting suspicion from other people (I think he tries to do it in posts 42, 114)
Haven't gotten a good read of the other folks, will try to finish the thread tomorrow.
Unvotefor now.-

I'm leaning neutral-scum on Ani because of his predecessor, but I don't know if that's enough to vote for him. Perhaps if it really comes down to it or no lynch, but...ShowCurrently Playing:

Reading back, I see the wifom now. Good catch.Jere wrote:Kodamma - really jumpy at the beginning; doesn't seem to be scum-hunting at all; did anyone catch his wifom in post 48?
Are you suggesting a kodamma(now ani)/Ross pairing? It seems hm, plausible i guess but really too early to really tell. Anyway, because it's day one we are not going to get anything good from scumpair hunting.Jere wrote:RossWilliams - seems to keep diverting suspicion from other people (I think he tries to do it in posts 42, 114)
Also now that you bring it up, when was the last time we heard form Ross? I don't remember him being here for a while.-

@Spyre/bunny- I started the PBPA because I was getting scum vibes from Faraday (of the something's not right, but I can't place what variety). By the time I realized what it was, and changed my opinion, I had already done a lot of work, and wasn't going to *not* post it. If you think that is scummy, then go ahead and lynch me. Me posting my thoughts (or anyone posting their thoughts) (whether I think someone is townie or scum) gives us something to compare behavior against. I currently feel that Faraday is a townie. I gave my reasons for it. I don't like the connotation for either of you that I should limit how much I type based on whether or not the end result is me thinking someone is scum or town.ShowHouse of Mirrors- Dead

A PBPA is useful in illustrating WHY someone is scum. If you had went "I started a PBPA and then saw X which made me think he is town (despite my initial read)" then sure thats fine.@Spyre/bunny- I started the PBPA because I was getting scum vibes from Faraday (of the something's not right, but I can't place what variety). I don't care how much anyone posts. What i'm getting at is you just used a whole lot of words to get a town read which, really, isn't more than a drop in the bucket at the mo considering a.) Faraday isn't really a viable lynch candidate b) This was after I took you to task about not actually looking for scum and c) see b - still didn't find a scum, just used a lot of works to make a town read.
Of course you'll also notice that at the moment I'm voting for Anim because, well, yea.-

@Spyre- My thinking was that if I came in and posted my summary instead of my PBPA, you'd have been all over me for another short post that doesn't find scum (although I was clearly looking for scum). That's probably not as clear as it sounded in my head, but that's all I've got time for at the moment.
Sometime this weekend I'll attempt to do a PBPA on my second suspect (Ross).ShowHouse of Mirrors- Dead

Far from it. I'm fine with PBPA's that illustrate why someone is scum. I'm fine with short synopsis on why someone is town (although at this juncture I care less about those).
I'm flabbergasted by PBPA's that illustrate why someone is town. Especially not a lynch candidate.
I DO actually change reads though so don't post what you think I want to hear versus what you want to post (unless you're scum then its all good).-

an L-1 claim leaves the lynchee vulnerable to quick lynch. it doesn't bother you that a powerrole would be claiming at L-1?Doombunny9 wrote: TBH I don't really care if it's at L-2 or L-1 I would personally like a claim at L-1 though because if someone quickly decides to change their mind (like we had here) then the claim would be a waste.
