Inf's recent posts strike me as odd, even coming from someone not used to the pace of games here.
About Militant - Yes, I did find it a bit forced, although it was for the most part just trying to start things off. I have been unimpressed with Inf since I brought him up, hence shall change.
Oooh, I take that as a scumtell.

Why did you not want to "jump straight in with a vote"?
Also, it seems I never mentioned, but there was one post from Inf, where he expresses that he is suprised at being voted for not contributing on Day One. It struck me as coming from a surprised scum, who thought he could lurk it.
Smooth as silk when he's scum, and very much capable of running things from behind the scenes while appearing to be doing minimal effort. - Almost50
Xtoxm is consistently great - Shosin

I'm responding to a prod, I did not say anything recently mainly because I'm waiting for infamousace2 to show up or _over9000 to reply to the points brought up against him. In either case my vote and suspicions remain as they were. I am fine with lynching either but prefer _over9000 as he seems to be the more likely scum from where I'm standing.

It's the same with me. I'm a little dependent of _over9000 for any discussion at the moment.

If anyone can think of anything else to look at, it'd be nice.

bumping this

infamousace2, over9000, and urielzyx seem to need replacement since they haven't posted in a long while, after being prodded. Willing to wait until the end of the Thanksgiving break, though, before actually pushing for replacements.

I'm back guys. Sorry, stage was very tiring (I slept for 13 hours straight after I was done) and I just couldn't bring up the energy to post here. Anyway, it seems like this thread isn't really going anywhere as long as over9000 and infamousace2 don't come back.

Gah, sorry, Thanksgiving break is crazy. uriel hasn't picked hers up and I'm going to look for a replacement. The others have been picked up. I'm going to give _over about 24 hours to post before finding a replacement.
infamousace needs replacement as well.

Hey all, I'm replacing infamous as your mod stated.

Could you all direct me to posts made by my character? And all I could find against my character was inactivity when I skimmed through the thread. Are there other reasons I'm missing? I'm gonna go ahead and read the last few pages fully now and give some of my thoughts, but answering these might be helpful.

I don't really like the reactions, including this one, that over9000 had to being under pressure. He went extremely defensive, and then, after being put under pressure, he just disappears. It's kind of odd to me personally.

GIEFF wrote:If you don't have anything to say, then don't force anything; I just think that you haven't been all that involved in our scumhunting.
I actually have to agree with this. He has really only agreed with people and has made very short and jumpy posts, usually directed at things the town already knew.
Xtoxm wrote:Anyway, i've got my top 2 suspects, and i'm ready to lynch.
Why so quick to lynch? Or am I missing something. When exactly did this game start?

Xtoxm, in my opinion, is basically sitting on the fence. He seems to switch his main suspects when people switch. Fence sitting isn't a very good idea (lol why am I telling an IC this?).

My musings as I read:
- First couple of pages are a bunch of sillyness. :P
- infamousace2 doesn't feel right page 6, but I think that is a result of his beginner status
- Lots of bad stuff page 7. GIEFF coming off his dislike of militant's RV too quickly, Elennaro unvoting a lurker which looks heavily like distancing a bus.
- hambargarz made a good point on page 8 with the whole GIEFF and militant thing, but attacked militant for mentioning interest in him without saying anything, very over-reactive, considering militant hasn't said anything bad yet.
- In general so far, there is too much fear of L-2 or L-1. Stop worrying about it on D1, as a mislynch today isn't the end of the world. Using votes near lynch as proof of scumminess is really bad logic, as the lynch needs to happen sometime!
- The whole "militant left his RV on too long" I can
sort of
agree with, but it is definitely not lynching material. The contradiction to what he said before is the only reason why it is scummy, and honestly, the contradiction doesn't mean much. That part of the case was over-amplified.
- Eww at hambargarz Post 209, Page 9. Things that don't matter shouldn't be rolled into why you think someone is scummy.
- In general, I don't see militant really actively lurking. All the times I saw that his comments seemed that way, he indicated he wasn't thinking anything at the time.

I'm halfway down Page 9. It is starting to get heavy, so I will read up later.
I am satisfied with a
Vote: ClockworkRuse
for strongly advocating the "militant is a active lurker" theory.
NOTE: This is based on past information and will likely change tomorrow
.

First; what prior information, may I ask?

Second; So we should let him slide because he said that he wasn't thinking anything at the time? Since this is a game about lying, I have to assume two things. Either he is town who really doesn't have anything to say or he is scum who is attempting to slide by without saying anything.

Either way, pressure on a player doing that will give us useful information. I wouldn't have been comfortable lynching Militant based on that at all but the responses he would give and the reactions of the others were definitely worth pressuring him.

And I'm not too sure I was "strongly advocating" a lynch on him. I was trying to put pressure on him.

Well, the best idea would to be re-read the entire thread. Your posts were made by infamousace, so those are your "characters" posts.

Just to clarify, I wasn't attacking militant for having an interest me, I was attacking militant there because he didn't give any reasons why. He said he would reread the thread with a particular interest in me, which led me to think he didn't have any reason and had to look one up. If militant was truly scum hunting he would reread the thread with an equal interest in everyone. The question is, why look at me in particular? (answer: because I attacked him first)
