This is all easier to rationalize in hindsight, but when you are piecing it out during the fact, it's easier to believe a Town Bulletproof exists than to assume he no killed followed by performing an action to prevent his death.

However, even if it was the case the simple truth is nuwen was pretty much as town as they come. If, somehow, it wasn't kuribo it sure as HELL shouldn't have been nuwen. At the point you're weighing "two scum bps" versus "nu scum" the scale should have fell over.
