My server doesn't give away diamonds. That is a legit collection of the entire wealth of a group of 5 players, all achieved honestly.
EDIT: When people get banned, all their stuff is up for grabs. This group of 5 players just usually happens to be the first ones on the scene to pick through it all.
Each player starts in one of the mini-forest areas. There are various items around the arena, guarded by mob spawners. The most valuable are right on top of the tower, but it's heavily guarded...
izak, what are you using to make the world? Can't just be creative because of the spawners.
Single Player Commands, WorldEdit, and TooManyItems. SPC lets you convert any block to a spawner of your choice, by pointing at it and typing "/spawner Creeper" (for example). That means you can have spawners that wouldn't normally appear, like magma cubes, slimes, creepers, ghasts, zombie pigmen, etc.
You can have enderdragon spawners too, but I don't think I'll be putting many of them in.

I'd like someone to beta test my PvP Arena soon. You'll need to use a mod to keep the time set to night, because I'd use a plugin for that on a server.
