Gah, sorry, Thanksgiving break is crazy. uriel hasn't picked hers up and I'm going to look for a replacement. The others have been picked up. I'm going to give _over about 24 hours to post before finding a replacement.ClockworkRuse wrote:Mod: Any responses from those prods?infamousace needs replacement as well.
Westbrook_Owns_U replaces infamousace2. Thanks so much!jdodge1019: hasjghsalghsakljghs is from vermont

Hey all, I'm replacing infamous as your mod stated.
Could you all direct me to posts made by my character? And all I could find against my character was inactivity when I skimmed through the thread. Are there other reasons I'm missing? I'm gonna go ahead and read the last few pages fully now and give some of my thoughts, but answering these might be helpful.Mafia - 0-1

I don't really like the reactions, including this one, that over9000 had to being under pressure. He went extremely defensive, and then, after being put under pressure, he just disappears. It's kind of odd to me personally._over9000 wrote:But I still had one page to read and didn't know how many votes you had on you. Now that i've read all the way through, however, I see that you aren't near a lynch and am ready to vote: ClockworkRuseFoS: _over9000
I actually have to agree with this. He has really only agreed with people and has made very short and jumpy posts, usually directed at things the town already knew.GIEFF wrote:If you don't have anything to say, then don't force anything; I just think that you haven't been all that involved in our scumhunting.
Why so quick to lynch? Or am I missing something. When exactly did this game start?Xtoxm wrote:Anyway, i've got my top 2 suspects, and i'm ready to lynch.
Xtoxm, in my opinion, is basically sitting on the fence. He seems to switch his main suspects when people switch. Fence sitting isn't a very good idea (lol why am I telling an IC this?).

My musings as I read:
- First couple of pages are a bunch of sillyness.
- infamousace2 doesn't feel right page 6, but I think that is a result of his beginner status
- Lots of bad stuff page 7. GIEFF coming off his dislike of militant's RV too quickly, Elennaro unvoting a lurker which looks heavily like distancing a bus.
- hambargarz made a good point on page 8 with the whole GIEFF and militant thing, but attacked militant for mentioning interest in him without saying anything, very over-reactive, considering militant hasn't said anything bad yet.
- In general so far, there is too much fear of L-2 or L-1. Stop worrying about it on D1, as a mislynch today isn't the end of the world. Using votes near lynch as proof of scumminess is really bad logic, as the lynch needs to happen sometime!
- The whole "militant left his RV on too long" I cansort ofagree with, but it is definitely not lynching material. The contradiction to what he said before is the only reason why it is scummy, and honestly, the contradiction doesn't mean much. That part of the case was over-amplified.
- Eww at hambargarz Post 209, Page 9. Things that don't matter shouldn't be rolled into why you think someone is scummy.
- In general, I don't see militant really actively lurking. All the times I saw that his comments seemed that way, he indicated he wasn't thinking anything at the time.
I'm halfway down Page 9. It is starting to get heavy, so I will read up later.
I am satisfied with aVote: ClockworkRusefor strongly advocating the "militant is a active lurker" theory.NOTE: This is based on past information and will likely change tomorrow.[i]Currently lurking about...

Second; So we should let him slide because he said that he wasn't thinking anything at the time? Since this is a game about lying, I have to assume two things. Either he is town who really doesn't have anything to say or he is scum who is attempting to slide by without saying anything.
Either way, pressure on a player doing that will give us useful information. I wouldn't have been comfortable lynching Militant based on that at all but the responses he would give and the reactions of the others were definitely worth pressuring him.
And I'm not too sure I was "strongly advocating" a lynch on him. I was trying to put pressure on him.-

Well, the best idea would to be re-read the entire thread. Your posts were made by infamousace, so those are your "characters" posts.Westbrook_Owns_U wrote:Hey all, I'm replacing infamous as your mod stated.

Just to clarify, I wasn't attacking militant for having an interest me, I was attacking militant there because he didn't give any reasons why. He said he would reread the thread with a particular interest in me, which led me to think he didn't have any reason and had to look one up. If militant was truly scum hunting he would reread the thread with an equal interest in everyone. The question is, why look at me in particular? (answer: because I attacked him first)SilverPhoenix wrote:- hambargarz made a good point on page 8 with the whole GIEFF and militant thing, but attacked militant for mentioning interest in him without saying anything, very over-reactive, considering militant hasn't said anything bad yet.

Read the entire thread. It won't take that long, and it'll help you form an opinion.Westbrook_Owns_U wrote:Hey all, I'm replacing infamous as your mod stated.

Here. Still support lynch of either those 2. Game is starting to stagnate.Smooth as silk when he's scum, and very much capable of running things from behind the scenes while appearing to be doing minimal effort. - Almost50

Picking up the prod. Don't see much new to say at this point. Looking back, it looks like infamous' scummy behavior may have just been to being new, so I'm willing to switch my vote to _over.
All this replacing makes things very difficult, both for continuity and for figuring out who is scum. I do appreciate you finding replacements though, hasdgfas.-

Is _over9000 going to be replaced? If he is, the replacement is going to have to fight hard to turn this wagon.
MOD EDIT: _over9000 will be replaced in 24 hours if he doesn't post and isn't lynched
We have some time, 2 weeks, It would be nice if _over9000 comes back. But seeing as he probably wont be back anytime soon, anything he would say probably wouldn't change things and nothing seems to be moving without his presence, perhaps we should lynch him as it would be a pretty short game for his replacement.-

unvote Westbrook (previously infamous)
vote _over9000
FoS Westbrook
While I still find infamous' behavior suspicious, I can't very well pressure Westbrook about it. _over hasn't posted in over 2 weeks, we all seem to be OK with lynching him, and he's caused the game to come to a standstill. I also found _over's lie about his reluctance to vote for CR just as suspicious as anything militant did; the same can't be said of Westbrook, although he has posted almost nothing since joining the game.
I believe _over is at L-1 now, so Xtoxm, Westbrook, Elennaro, and SilverPhoenix have the ability to hammer.
SilverPhoenix, you had a good first post (287), and promised more discussion about your CR vote, but it hasn't happened yet. Can you elaborate on your reasons for voting CR?-
