I intend to do a full reread of the thread after the Thanksgiving holiday. You'll have to twist in the wind until then. For now, it is enough to me that Mastin has you as a major scumread, and that your reaction to being called out (namely attacking his methodology in a sneaky OMGUS way instead of engaging his points) is super scummy. Until now, you'd been flying under my radar. Not any more, nope nope nope.

You can't explain his methodology yourself. He isn't explaining it himself either. What's keeping him from doing this as town OR scum? If I were mastinscum, I'd be doing exactly that, and just mixing my lists with one scum, viable mislynches. I feel that on his list Tajun is scum, but I don't really see a vote on Tajun. I will heartily dismiss any methodology which is very confusing and pretty unclear because confusing posts hurt the town.

Please tell me his points. I agree that the Tajun post is scummy, and that the two leading wagons are bad, but it's really hard for me to understand his main point. I'm definitely dropping you down from a townread at this point to null leaning scum. Fly and flit away rather than actually answering my questions. (you weren't able to explain why I was scummy through his logically "sound" posts upon my request, rather basing my scumminess upon posts AFTER my initial question. Fly away, Pine. Hopefully I'll have your buddy Tajun strung up by the time you've returned.

Neither Mastin are that inexperienced. We might do some ballsy things as scum, but forming a Town coalition shamelessly on D1? Too incautious. Sure, it's WIFOM to say so, but I always, always hedge my bets as scum. I never go all-in until the endgame, unless forced.

There he was pretty clear in his explanations, but here I'm just really confused. The way I like posts is some reasoning M is town because, X is scummy because, Y is scummy because, Z is scummy because, then vote. I agree with him that D1 interactions are very helpful, but I'm not really getting much from him, and his posting style is pretty different. But didn't you list me as a townread, Pine?

Last game his efforts were pretty far off, and confirmed townies ended up being scum, so this is the position that I'm coming from. No doubt mastin2 is awesome, but right now I'm seeing him being somewhat scummy. It honestly doesn't make much sense, and the only post I see as "scummy" is something I hastily typed up while working on my CMU app.

pedit: EXPLAIN what I've done that is scummy. There's nothing for me to defend. It's just. herp, this wagon needs moar votes.

I don't see any explanations in that game. Mastin is just saying things like "I did a skim-ISO of Fate. He looks town." So I feel like you're only reacting this way because he is suspicious of you.

NC's accusation of Sampson looks somewhat town. If he was scum, he'd probably just be happy to have someone join him on his mislynch attempt, and wouldn't call someone out on their vote of me.

Looking back, she seems to actually believe in the RVS votehopping townread, which makes it less forced, which was one of my points against her. Her initial vote on SV seems more townie than scummy, as it was made right after his post and before the bandwagon started truly developing. So that pushes her up to a null read.

The truth is I just like the silly reasoning portion of RVS. I was just having some fun. It was obvious to me that RVS was just about over by the time I posted. And of course I'm going to find it suspicious if I disagree with the basis for an early game townread.

What a crap reasoning. Off course it was obvious the RVS for you was over, though you reacted nervous on it as newbie scums regularly do. Disagreeing =/= Finding suspicious.

When someone is using logic I disagree with to state a townread on someone and then defend that person, I'm going to find it suspicious. It's not just the disagreeable logic alone. And I don't get where you're getting this whole "nervous" thing from.

I have a feeling that Mastin is town. He's doing a lot of scumhunting, although I'm going to have to disagree with his scumread on me. I can see what the logic is guiding his reasoning, though, and he's sticking to it.

Also, I agree with the case on Tajun. He pushed way too hard for the easy SV lynch, then took it back way too easily for all of his passionate language. His first post is terribly indecisive.

mastin2 plays a pretty weak scum game. I'm pretty disappointed, but it's helpful to town. I think we have time, so I'll wait on my other townreads before deciding further.
