In post 347, Glork wrote:CES, let me be stubborn please? I'd try to pull the Team Mafia trump card, but I'm pretty sure you wouldn't listen anyway.

I'm letting you be stubborn? I'm just also being stubborn, which would be fine if Thor got off his ass and finally hammered.

Is the Team Mafia trump card supposed to be w.r.t DeltaWave?

Yeah, Haylen/DW. Kind of a role reversal here, but I don't think DW is scum here, and after TM and the last day of Maiden, I'm really tired of settling for other lynches that turn out to be wrong.

Vote Count 1.6 (modified to correct missed vote change)

CJMiller
(1): Toro,
FarieLord

FarieLord
(2):
Thor665
, Glork
DeltaWave (2):
triangle123
, gorckat
gorckat (2):
CJMiller,

Glork (1): DeltaWave

To my mind this is a pretty interesting vote count.

Toro is pretty much assured town as I don't think it was taking double scum to nail town CJ.
Gorck seems unlikely scum because...again, I wouldn't expect a double scum push on town.
I personally see Glork as town, though his position doesn't help him.
DeltaWave makes sense.

Gonna look at other VCs to see if anything leaps out as disproving this.

Okay, looking at 1.7 Glork's vote move functionally assured a CJ lynch over a Triangle lynch.
Scummy.

That said, his moves on Day 2 look mostly town to me.

Day 2 Delta tossed in a quick change to the lolobvious FaerieLord wagon - it was a vote of little meaning and feels buslike looking at the counts. I'm going to go look at his vote post to see if it fills me with town feelings.

Delta opens with a meaningless Triangle vote that feels like distancing.
Pushes onto CJ oddly despite list.
Ignores list to chase Gorck on next day despite being proven correct on 50% of top scumreads on list - and chases after a prior town read.
Move onto Faerie feels like a setup for Gorck lynch today.

Stop.

Mjolnirtime.

So tomorrow it's Glork and the three stooges. I'm hoping that God swoops down and knocks some sense into some of you because with this cast of characters, it will take a divine miracle for town to win.

You think Triangle and Gorck scum were trying to combo push for your lynch to protect FarieLord?

Gorck is the most likely to be scum because of three things: (1) his refusal to do anything but tunnel, (2) he called "Delta/Fae" but shortly after got cold feet on the Fae wagon despite him calling Fae scum, and (3) his refusal to provide any reads on who would be scum other than me if I got hammered.

I still don't get how you don't understand point 2. That's one of the most basic scumtells ever. Gorck put Fae as his second read but immediately backed off once the Fae wagon heated up. If that's not a botched attempt at bussing then I don't know what is. Gorck basically tacked his buddy onto his suspicion list when it became clear that Fae was under suspicion, but he refused to lynch Fae
despite Fae being his other pick for scum
. I mean seriously. How did you miss this? I explained it like four times already.

CES deserves some attention for being very Gorck-ish in his single-minded tunneling and intentional withholding of information.

Glork is the most pro-town out of all of you but that's not hard to do given what we're dealing with here.

I understand the tell, but it's not a tell I use and therefore weighs lighter with me than with you as I've had it burn town for me a couple of times and consider it unreliable.
I'm also somewhat sold in his defense of it, as I'm not even sure it's as clearly what he did as you're saying.

The biggest problem is that there's so much scummy shit going around that sorting this out is going to be rough.

Something tells me that Gorck pointed the finger at Glork because Thor seemed to be wafting suspicion in that direction already.

AND AND AND AND as an added one time bonus, I'll even tocin upon how gorck is just independently scummy, outside of his connections to both known scum.
