Ask her why she thinks black people are scary and how she manages to still be allowed to run for president after saying such a racist thing:
http://thefederalist.com/2015/07/23/hil ... are-scary/

Ask her why she needed a private email account to discuss top secret government info and if it ever crossed her mind that the account could be hacked compromising the security of our nation.

Ask about Benghazi.

Ask about why she thought that having to sell some estates meant she could relate to the poor.

i clicked the link kmd and that's not what she said at all

“I mean if we’re honest, for a lot of well-meaning, open-minded white people, the sight of a young black man in a hoodie still evokes a twinge of fear,” Clinton said.

this is really true (and has been shown scientifically) and the fact that it isn't talked about is part of what's wrong with the national conversation about race

do you think class-based appeals are just more feasible politically or do you really think that the troubles faced by minorities in America are just class issues

Somehow I knew her racist comment would get ignored. It seems like because she's a female democrat, it's ok for her to be racist.

Kmd - speaking as someone who seems to share similar views to you - you're completely wasting your time trying to make a point here. The people who post in this thread are ultra-liberal to a point. They all vote Democrat, and in fact they don't even like centrist democrats, as evidenced by the heavy Sanders support. They all believe that all minorities are being discriminated against systematically, especially black people, women and transgenders, and if you don't agree it's because of your white privilege. There should definitely have been an indictment in Ferguson, welfare state is great, defund the military, down with cops. And so forth.

I agree with what you're saying, but I'll probably be the only one.
"i have the sickest grossest feeling that even if it's my lynch today, my townflip still won't lead to a tso lynch, and then he'll find some bullshit way to reason either shooting or lynching gm tomorrow because if there's anyone who can strongarm a mislynch despite his reads or cases being proved wrong time and again it's tso"

Psyche, I see what you're trying to go for - but even so, "what about Benghazi?" is a ridiculous response.

I think the class issues that many minorities face are because of systemic and personal racism. I think that trying to rectify the class issues will be more productive than saying racism is bad and hoping it goes away (though reminding people that racism is bad isn't a thing that should stop). So the first option.

Also if you interpret what Hillary said in that link as her being racist instead of calling attention to a problem, then you're a fucking moron.

Leaving aside that Psyche
did
respond...I'm sorry, I'm not normally this rude, but are all your political opinions completely disingenuous bullshit that exist only to smear whoever's wearing the opposing team's T-shirt? At least the Benghazi comment can be excused as ignorance. But anyone who read that article critically would realize that 1) it's a laughably biased hack job, and 2) the original comment isn't racist unless you're one of those people who believes that racism is caused by the PC brigade talking about race all the time (I've sadly met them). It takes a deliberate effort to misinterpret "some white people are afraid of black men in hoodies, and this is something that should change" as "HILLARY IS AFRAID OF BLACK MEN IN HOODIES." And you seem reasonably intelligent in other threads, so I'm forced to conclude that either you only read the article's headline or you don't believe what you're arguing.

p-edit: and SK put it much more succinctly!

To be fair, I regularly interpret people as fucking morons when they call things racist.

Well, hopefully you realize why this isn't so cut and dried as "Sanders is better for minorities" then. You have certain opinions about what is best for minorities, which verge on paternalism. But it's at least not obvious to me that this is the correct (or at least only) approach to the systemic issues that minorities face.

Beyond everything else you said that was wrong, how can someone be both always voting Democrat AND not even liking centricist Democrats? If they hated Centricist Democrats, they would all vote Green.

But yes those seem to be factually supported statement people have provided evidence and sourced arguments for. The fact you decide to just say them with a sneer continuously rather than actually composed reasons arguments against them isn't really our problem.

And for the record, I still stand by the Ferguson lack of indictment.

Also, I think you know better than to think "transgenders" is the proper term.

I think TSO's point is that liberals tend to seek out like minded opinions to tell them they are right rather than to seek honest political debate, especially on internet forums, where liberals are in the majority. It doesn't make an opposing viewpoint invalid.

I would vote Green, except people like me voting Green would lead to Republifacists taking over the country. So I suck it up and vote Dem while not being all that happy about it.
