That is why it is so unnatural for clidd to say if Tweet is scum she isn't analyzing. Scum can still analyze. It'd be analysis either way.

But I didn't say that she couldn't do analysis as scum.

My observation is that she is on the right track for having correct reads or is just scum and already knows my alignment, so it would be easy for her to find reasons to have me as a townread.

Exactly. It makes it easier to come up with analysis if one has a predetermined conclusion they want to reach.

That does not mean that's what happened here. But I don't think pointing that out is scummy.

My first reaction here was that you and I have very different ideas of what constitutes scumminess. I interpret that as a means of trying to prod Pine back into the game. But I think I see your angle here - is it seeing knowledge of Town|Pine?

I'm slightly interested in how you used two posts to reiterate the fact you're a tree and don't need to be worried about getting eliminated -- if you're an experienced player, then trying to forge a newbie townslip by claiming tree immediately would probably be the way to go

i just-- you realize that trees are stumped after death, meaning you don't have to worry about wasting time on a reread since you'll always be helpful. you clearly know what you're talking about

wouldn't you then also have realized that trees shouldn't claim?

It's not altogether wrong to try to get Pine back in the game, but he was approaching it in a manner that was as if clidd knew Pine was town, yeah.
"I want to know what you think of things" or other phrasings are more organic for a slot that should be poe'd towards scum rather than town based on the quality of the active posting

It reminded me of Silent Star, however, you were super present during RVS of silent star. My running scum theory is that you feel the need to get your foot in the door at the start of the game, take a single stance (like your scumread on midway), and then hang back for a while
