Okay, I'm sorry I've been dragging my feet. This game just hasn't been much fun and I keep putting off posting because it feels chore-ish. This game needs an Adel-ish vote track breakdown at some point because all we have to do on is vote patterns. All rhetoric is suspect and overall pretty unhelpful.
Kat's pressing town buttons recently, which is annoying. First he analysed his own scumplay, which in my experience is much more common from town, and now he's walking back his townreads when he needs all the help he can get.
The self-vote is an appeal to pity. I wanted to see his reaction to me upping the ante to L-1. There also was some heavy WIFOM (see 378) for someone resigning himself to a lynch.
Your unvote pretty much ruined any pressure it could create. Though when you revoted, Katsuki immediately put himself out of danger. So, still happy with my vote.
Nothing particularly important to say. My opinions haven't noticeably changed.
Just as a warning though, I'm probably gonna have to replace out...events starting this weekend are likely to severely limit my access to Mafiascum for the foreseeable future (to an extent that I wouldn't be able to keep up with the pace of even this game). I'll keep you updated on that and sorry if I do end up having to do so.
Last post before I leave. Nothing much to say to Kat (or anyone) - I don't think my thoughts are "fairly bullshit" or my case "shit terrible". The change through today from "resigned, for-the-greater-good" Kat to "this is bullshit and you're scum" Kat makes me hopeful Kat is scum. But TBH I'm not sure how well I distinguish flailing annoyed town from flailing desperate scum.
In post 431, Katsuki wrote:And so "putting self out of danger" to make sure one can get their thoughts in is scummy.
Sorry, whole situation reads like a giant AtE.
Isn't that what everyone's been saying?
It's funny because I'm not even going all pouty eyes and everything at people...
You did though. You were fine with self-voting after one vote when two other people would have to vote after you to secure your lynch. But when three other people are voting you, you refuse to self-hammer. That's the distinction.
Your self-vote was your pouty eyes. If you seriously thought that you should be removed from the game, you wouldn't have had an issue with self-hammering.
420 was actually a direct response to your 419 (that is, I disagree on the "phony pandering" part). OMGUSy = mildly scummy in the absence of context, but hard to read in this case whether he's OMGUSy scum or town.
I do think it's pretty likely he's scum, I'm just not as confident in that as I was yesterday. That said, his posting since 413 hasn't given me any confidence in his townieness either, and no big warning alarms have been triggered by KK finally gracing us with his input. So, I'm going to go ahead and hammer.
@KK: Eh, self-hammering as town in an /invitational though? Under normal circumstances I would've without hesitation but well considering the quality of the playerbase here.
w/e though I played horrendously this game.
Please rope DRK after me thanks.

Also whoever said what I did in #413 or whichever post it was that I stated townreads, town literally can not lose this game once two townreads have been identified in a game where scum apparently have no NKs.
Which leads to my logic of game being over once DRK, KK and fishy are purged, because mith and rhinox are the most likely townies right now. So in a way, townhunting is an effective strategy in this scenario.
But no one cares what dead people have to say so.

After days of intense fighting which failed to result in any breakthrough, Vahan needed a break from the fighting. His men were demoralized, the fight wasn't going as planned.
Beyond that, the treasurer and formal leader of the army, Theodore Trithourios, saw other problems arise. The empire couldn't afford to lose here, literally. He saw no other way out then laying the hand on himself.
I most likely won't have limited access, but I don't think I could possibly be angrier than I am right now and will not be posting today or possibly the next few days.
Still mostly away until Mon/Tue. It's LYLO, don't vote.
Not remotely interested in a mith or Rhinox lynch. So I don't really care how likely kk/drk is. The 4 important pairings are:
Rh/kk
Rh/drk
Mith/kk
Mith/drk
Of those, I'm currently putting most of the weight on mith/kk; Rhinox really doesn't look like scum, and mith would have to be playing a brilliant game to be scum with drk here. When I get back, I will reread carefully to check I believe both those. If that's the case, KK should die.
@Rhinox: which pairs do you think are likely to be scum? In particular, I'm interested in mith with drk or kk; which is more likely?
