Please put yourself in the shoes of anyone else who was town and reevaluate your play.
The entire point was, I was being lynched.IFI'm town, then I am killing one of you 2. If that situation you should be explaining why I pick you over Prism.
And you say I played scummy, you avoided the game as much as possible. Why would I not revenge kill there every time knowing you were active else where?
Lurking isn't AI. Why would you revenge kill? There was literally nothing about my content that you scum read.-

Prism starts off town and looks Scum later
You start off Scum look town and go back to Scum.
Why should I have revenge killed Prism over You? I didn't have a case there either and neither of you were interested in helping.-

I guess it's a reminder not to rush LyLo.
Personally I thought you played it well given the situation you were in. You had a damn hard choice.ShowThat which is done out of love always takes place beyond good and evil

I'm not going to pretend I scum read him for his back and forth with you but the last vote he laid down was total scum. My earlier interactions with him as well my interactions with one of his partners in Neal, strongly pointed to me as town too.-

I still think this is more balanced at 6:5, but apart from that it went fairly well (and I can well understand wanting to fit an experimental game into Micro numbers). Was surprising to see town lynch scum three days in a row in a Micro and still lose, but waiting until later in the game was always going to be a viable potential strategy for scum, and after letting three players be lynched – whilst having a lot of control over the actual votes – you'd have to assume that scum got something out of that in terms of looking innocent.
I disagree with forcing scum to select the miss list in advance of the day; that'd make things even harder on the scum, and they're fairly hard as it is. (Besides, what if your "decoy townie" gets lynched? You wouldn't have put them on the list unless you thought that people would see them as scum.) The whole point of the setup is that town want to try to lynch scum, and if they can't, they then have to identify one person on a list whoisn'tthe odd one out. Most days, that's fairly easy (given that you only have one miss on the list and have all the information you need for, e.g., associatives), and not giving scum a free selection of who to put on the list (besides the scum) would make it even easier to avoid the decoy on the list. 3p whatever-this-game's-equivalent-of-lylo is another matter, because the list has shrunk to the size that picking out scum can be much harder then, but asking the scum to choose the decoy townie in advance wouldn't make any sense; the decoy townie is going to be the last townie alive because there's nobody else left.scum· scam · seam · team · term · tern · torn ·town-

Eh, it's grown on me.
I think the scum should have to start the day with someone on the miss list, but that's the only change I'd make.
I really like the setup.ShowThat which is done out of love always takes place beyond good and evil

Good game, this was one of the hardest I've ever played. It was incredibly tough, being that I knew I could convincealmosteveryone that I was town, but convincingeveryoneI was town is a much harder job.
I mentioned this in the PT but holy shit were Grey/LUV/Brie tough. I really, really wanted to concede Day 2 but knew I needed to see it through.
To the scum team, you're welcome. I really didn't want to bus (maybe once with D3f) but after that we just got forced down to 3 way. Not that D3f and Assemble tried to lose or anything, but especially grateful to Neal, who tried really hard but it just wasn't happening.
This is all sincere, but is diplomatic. I do feel like I've earned one "fuck yeah I did it all me" comment so this'll be that.my fucking back is broken, someone call an ambulance
I think people are underselling the selfsac strat. In the event of a mafia lynch, sacrifice strat gives town a free mislynch/investigation. I gave a possible lynch strat, in the event you lynch town, in the mafia PT but am unsure of how easy it'd be to implement and whether it really changed the EV much at all.-

23 days. 23.In post 426, GreyICE wrote:Like, and I hope I don't come off as too offensive, but never has the term 1v8 been so applicable.
Do you know what it's like to spend 23 days in the swamp, the enemy's swamp? My whole unit was dead before we ever touched ground. From there, it was just me, the mud, the filthy water, and a neverending horde of unfriendlies. No hope of reinforcements, no hope of rescue, and discovery meant death. 23 days I crawled through the mire, accumulating dirt and grime and muck. Crawling, inching, through mud and water, feeling the swamp resist me all the way, as though opposing the spirit of man itself. One by one they fell, but still, I was alone. Do you know what it's like to be alone that long in such a dark place, opposed to your very existence, no one to talk to? You start to see things. Apparitions. Food that isn't really there, a bath house, loved ones, Neal, appearing for a moment then disappearing again. Just long enough to get your hopes up. Just short enough to pound them further into the mud. Still, I pressed on. Time flew by. 3 weeks, or 3 months? Hard to tell when the time slips so slowly, all thoughts of winning long gone, just clinging onto your own will to survive and take down as many of the fuckers as you can with you. Nobody'll take you alive-not them, not this swamp. One by one, you creep up behind and cut them down, slipping once again into the murk. One by one, flawless, until either you fall or them.
23 days in the swamp. And on the 23rd day, I made it out.-

Lol Prism
You did an amazing job. And your strategy is interesting, though it depends on the mod seeing the hammer before any of the scum (or maybe several, depending on how the votes are in the scum PT). If you want, we can discuss it here.-

I think more so than breaking it actually makes the game better.
First it evens up the mathematical balance a lot, second it forces the scum to play a more Mafia in Camden style where they run the town, since the consequences of a scum lynch can get awfully diasterous.ShowThat which is done out of love always takes place beyond good and evil
