To be fair, if our PRs hadn't forgot to use their abilities N2 we might have had a better shot at it.

It seems like the only consolation I can take from this game is that my D1 plan worked.

Thanks for running it Tierce! I know it was frustrating for you at times.

Just like the real Donner Party.

Don't even joke about it. I did quite a bit of research on the history of the Donner Party for flavor and at the end I simply didn't have the heart to use much of what I had. It was too depressing and heartbreaking. So many lives lost, so many children who died or had their lives shattered, and the cruelty of desperate people against each other. Initially I was trying for a balance of morbid and light, but then I simply scrapped my original pieces of flavor. I like gallows humor--but what I had just left me uncomfortable.

This run would have been a lot more cheerful if I had gone with my Hungry Hungry Hippos idea.

You should always go with Hungry Hungry Hippos.

I'm now 2 for 2 in gunsmithing vigilantes.
Scumchat is awesome. Yarr!

EBWOP: The problem was, I knew there was a good chance she killed CES (espcially when she started speculating that I killed CES)... except if I went down that road, eventually other people would have gone "Glork probably tried to kill CES"... which I most certainly would
never
do... unless it were very obviously the optimal play.

I really do apologize for not sending in my action night 2. I was dealing with some real life issues and I just totally forgot about it. I wish tierce reminded me on aim :(

Doing so would have been partial to town, sorry. I was chomping at the bit to poke you, but as I don't remind scum that they have to send in their kill by deadline, neither can I remind town about their PRs. It's the player's responsibility to remember their role and the length of the night phase, not the mod's to potentially break game integrity to ensure they act protown.

Reminding you would have created a dangerous precedent that I never want to deal with.

Yup. You're right and I accept that.

I really wish GNR read his role pm. I couldnt just leave him be after that. And then him not posting when he promised to do so. Which is very upsetting as I would have went for shadoweh had GNR not done that.

Keseberg is obviously the SK. I'd say the Mafia is the Donner family, they were all gung ho about making it out together and screw everyone else. GO TEAM EATING BABIES!

Glork, I never had any doubt you killed Saulres, and that funny dance where you unvoted me when I unvoted you and said 'Let's look at other people! :D' was what convinced me you were scum. Tierce can attest that I was panicing when two kills came in the next day, because I was certain you'd identified me and were trying to kill me too!

Yeah both our living PRs not using their night ability really hurt us, although the more I think about it the more I think the GNR lynch was such a bad idea and I don't know how I supported it so vehemently.

I mostly had an inkling about you killing CES first. The only other person I could have seen doing that would have been Scotmany, and he very obviously wasn't scum. Like I said, butting heads win you probably wasn't going to be profitable for anyone but the town, but I had plent of faith in my scumbuddy.

Btw, Phil, it was a pleasure doing business with you. Well done considering you had a walking corpse for a scumbuddy.

Also, thanks to everyone who played, and to our mod. This game was a lot of
fun
, with no drama, and just some good old fashioned mafia playing.
