i didn't know CES reads the speakeasy!
i'm going to have to add that to my elaborate set of notes that I've amassed on every single player in this game

- Regfan, couple of things;

Not discussing tokens. At all. Too much WIFOM around that and it's not worth the effort.

Is everything not weak this early in the game? Your attack on elk feels weak, what are you expecting at this stage of the game?

- Case in point re tokens. This post makes me think CD could be town and it's something he could quite easily say as scum.

BBT; I don't think token usage is as much WIFOM as you're making it out to be, think I can tell when people are lying about token usage quite easily based on meta (Know this is something you disagree with as a concept but in instances like this it's quite useful) and think not just what they claim but the way they claim it will be very fruitful. While I agree that a lot of reasoning can be weak in the early game (Though I normally have a few strong town reads by this point, not finding them this game, feeling like a n00b) the main issue I take with Elks post is it looks like him posting for the sake of seeming "here" while throwing a vote down on something that really isn't an alignment tell claiming it is one and pretending nothing else has happened, it's a way I see scum enter the game very often.

We don't have to? Just don't spam the thread with non-game related things, makes it too hard for me (And others) to keep up with the thread.

Hm... I can't tell which one is scummy; Coming right in the thread and immediately wanting to talk about tokens, or being reserved and not wanting to talk about tokens.

I feel like it's the latter. The people who don't want to talk about it might feel that way because we could reasonably figure it out if we delved into it took much.

I'm fine with talking about them, but not as a basis for reads. I'm probably actually going to remain out since I don't know enough to spectate on what others are likely to do. I assume anything said about them is going to be honest though, so it's probably not worth it.
I think anything gained will only benefit team mafia as a while rather than unsocial games.

qq means either "cry" or "quit" depending on who's saying it (the latter usually referring to oneself, i.e. "I'm going to qq this argument right now.")

As for my vote, it was mostly me thinking that most of the RVS was pretty standard (null) RVS, but the question oversoul asked seemed like an attempt to start token WIFOM, and I feel like token WIFOM is an antitown thing to start, because a player who spent tokens to be town could still very well have rolled scum (or vice versa) without it being that unlikely.

So guys, how does ika have 4 votes already? Like he's kinda not saying much of anything useful, but I don't see anything abysmal in his posts either, it feels more like "pre-game banter" from a player who doesn't have reads yet.

I'm keeping a moderately suspicious eye on this wagon.

What's wrong with a wagon?

Might just be a playstyle thing, might be from playing on another (non-mafia but having mafia games) site with different rules and a meta resulting from that, but I tend to think a quickly building wagon without a solid case, especially at the start of an early day, probably has at least one scum. Don't have good rules for identifying which of the votes is the scum though.
