@CKD, They both look too good in the early game to both be scum IMO. I like my VCA and I stand by that. The only way I would consider Val as plausible is if I had confirmation Brian was town and maybe not even then.

I want to engage everyone to shore up my reads and get everyone on the same page. I was mislynched recently by town that failed to engage me. I want everyone's list. No one is doing it. If someone is obvious scum, we can force a lynch through that way without worrying about my neg. utility.

@V - Short Version, I am taking the votes and looking for an Overall narrative that makes sense. For instance, scum silencing you early gives me pretty strong vibes you did not know you were scum (which includes being town) at that point. It's a series of inferences that check on each other as the VCAs progress. Your votes split on screening and lynching scum strongly suggest not scum as well.

This is a really weird tack to take in a game where the final VCs show the following:
D1: BRO on sangres lynch, sangres and ooba on BRO lynch and ooba screen
D2: sangres on ooba lynch, ooba on sangres screen

for me, my vote is coming down to Nik or GM. Trying to figure out who looks the most towny, I am big in to actions over words at this point. Titus is on the bubble of said vote and if it wasnt for Nero's vote at a couple of key points, I am pretty sure that slot would have my vote, when I get back today, I am going to double check that vote to make sure it was indeed where I remember it.

I am still concerned about my Val/Brian theory...

My VCA. Period. The votes tell a story, and that is only one of Val/Brian can be scum, because to be scum each would have to be the sleeper. Val's voting pattern doesn't have much of a shift to it. Brian's does.

That's the type of comment that gets made about my VCA in practically every game. See Uncouth. AP and I went at it for pages in there because he refused to listen that the townbeard was the townbeard, so much that I began turning away from the VCA myself to listen to him.

Most of that centered on just one wagon and it was just "you can't do that".

They're both behaving in a manner that's inconsistent for scum day 1 and day 2. Scum generally don't plan busses on themselves to open the entire fucking game. Both Brian and Val open as strong town. Both of them therefore cannot be "group scum" at the start. If they are the scum, then they must be the sleeper. Considering there's only one sleeper, they BOTH cannot be scum together.

He lurks through most of the scum busses in the early day and the town mislynches and then shows up to just what... lead a wagon on town. I don't think he'd do that as scum. Nikanor might do that as a scum scum situation, but that's again unlikely. It'd be more advantageous for him to lurk rather than lead a wagon that he would unlikely be able to get out of.
