Well i dont think im spineless per se
It’s just an obviously superior way to respect Haschel while getting what I want, too
I can’t stick to one decision when I know there’s one that’s better.
Maybe that’s my problem.

Anyway, this way people can feel free to discuss the possibilities for improving the nom without feeling like they’re potentially denying Hasch justice.

That's a better way of handling it, but psyche if a title has gone through all the steps but your official assigning it, not doing that part is essentially not doing your job. If you think a title sucks, then you gotta bring that up during the nom phase, if you don't, retroactively blocking it makes you look arbitrary as he'll. And I don't think that's your intention at all. But do your job and give him the title he already had earned.
nth if necessary
. I don't really like the other ones. Something more like Mr. Trivia is better than the others, but still. Haschel would be the guy who'd sing Mr. Know It All at karaoke too. Like music and trivia knowledge is his thiing.

accept when he does is much more of a meme than this debacle is
titling haschel as a reference to psyche messing up makes the title more about psyche than haschel

regardless i gotta be unhelpful here and
anti-nom "Mr. Know It All"

i echo firebringer's sentiment that the title makes me think of someone who acts like they know everything in mafia games
like if i was playing with haschel and was like lol why were you titled mr know it all and he answered "because i'm good at trivia" i'd be like "wtf?"

that said i do not have a better title, but i will let you know if i come up with one

we're basically looking for an interesting synonym to "Trivia King"

So I'll be honest.

If I read the current thread, I wouldn't really understand.

But by going back to the original suggestion.

Because I swear to god this man knows everything. It's fairly common knowledge at this point that he goes to pub trivia every Wednesday and wins basically every time. The kicker? It's the line of a Kelly Clarkson song, and Haschel is apparently really bad at pop culture related trivia.
The moment I read it. It clicked into place. And made me go, "Oh yeah! I remember that now." And I remembered it all, just by going back to it.

I feel that, overall, that is a testament to it being a good title; it's something that you might not immediately get, you might not immediately understand, but the moment you put some thought into it and/or you hear the backstory behind it, you go "HOLY SHIT THAT FITS SO WELL".

As far as titles go, I'd say that's fairly good, so I'd say my
nth
stands.

Yep, this is a good resolution. Really, you should give him the title *now*, and if something better comes up and he likes the better suggestion, you just change it to that one, but this is a good compromise, and slightly diminishes my outrage.

People are mad about how Psyche is handling things now, not that he forgot about it a year ago. That's a simple, reasonable oversight.

Refusing to do what he said he'd do when the oversight was brought to his attention is unacceptable, and that's what upsets people.

Psyche stood up for himself and the public quickly let him know that they loved his spinelessness more than they liked his opinions.

I don't really get the psyche hate, honestly. I think his original stance was fair and the response was overblown by a lot.

Stood up for himself? No. He accidentally failed to perform the *only* duty he has, and then doubled down on the mistake, rather than just doing what he should have done on the first place.

He only stood up for himself if not putting the title in place was a deliberate choice he made back then...in which case he lied to everyone then, and is continuing to lie now.

Nope. Wrong. He actually performed his duty correctly. He applied his taste in titles in a manner he saw fit. You'e just upset that he's not jumping on command.

He's not a timid retail worker that has to scramble to please an irate customer. He runs the title game. I'd tell you to take your business elsewhere, but Psyche is the only game in town.

Kk. You're wrong. He explicitly said the title would be applied back then. From that point, his job was to give the title to the individual. He did not do that.

As I said, unless he MEANT to not give the title, and it was a deliberate choice to exercise his judgment, you're really fucking wrong right now. And in the event that you're right, Psyche really fucked up by lying to every one about the decision he had made.

Doesn't matter. Psyche could capriciously take away my title right now. He could chance the default "Mafia Scum" to "Ordinary Poster". He's got carte blanche from the administration as it pertains to titles.

If you want to complain, then PM Zor or Kison. Bitching in thread is pointless.
