Lapis Lazuli Blocks

have been hidden somewhere in/around SpawnTown!

The only specifics I will give out are that

ONE FACE OF THE BLOCK IS VISIBLE WITHOUT BREAKING ANY BLOCKS

, and they are all labelled with a Sign that reveals something about their location - the first player to find at least 1 Block must PM me with a 3rd-person screenshot of them and the Block (or a screenshot of them as close as they can get to the block). Once all Blocks have been found, the Winner will be the player who found the most out of the 5 Blocks. If there is a tie and/or not all Blocks are found by 7 days from this post, more Lapis Lazuli Blocks will continue to be hidden in pairs until the tie is broken. The Winner will then be given special designation in the Winner Records Building, a prize to-be-determined between them and myself, and a 30-60 minute headstart on the next Round.

NO PRIZE WILL BE GIVEN IF THE BLOCKS ARE STOLEN, ETC.

Suggestions for prizes, hiding locations, and future Blocks-to-Find will be taken via PM!

You will not be told who the winner is until all Blocks have been found and you will not be told whether the Blocks you fund have already been found.

my modded server is going tekkit for anyone who wants to play on/enjoys a tekkit server.

Is it going to erase anything? I had a huge project I was working on which is why I was asking when it would be back up.

I was also smart and have an entire backup of the world folder and whatnot, so give me a week or two and I can pop the old world up on a server and run both Tekkit and the old mods.

IS NOW A TEKKIT SERVER!!!!! Running Tekkit 3.1.2 and dedicated to only `H` and MS players, all you need to do to play is request whitelisting.

To mine obsidian you need a diamond pick (also in case you don't know yet, obsidian can be made when you put water over a lava source block (so not flowing but standing still basically). The only boss right now is the Enderdragon, but in 1.4 there will be a new boss mob called the Wither boss (or something like that).

I could not figure out how to generate obsidian. It just kept turning into stone

I have the opposite problem, I tried to make a cobble generator twice, turned into obsidian twice

When you're mining underground and you see a lava lake, just pour water on that.

The problem with that is you have to get on the same level as the obsidian and get right up next to it, or it falls into the lava under it. =/

Or, you know, keep the water running while mining (but place it so you don't drown).

yes whitelisted, so far only kc spot has played, IP is somewhere above, or possibly in the OP MAYBE

Do this. It's much easier than what I had to do (though my way is also ridiculously easy). This is just one step instead of three-ish.

Lied again. I was logging on to the old server, which is now a PvP-specific server now. So the OP needs to be changed.
