Scum want to cost without taking strong stances or pushing anything they can be called on, by just going with the flow and continually agreeing with the current ongoing wagon he appears active so he can't be called on lurking and can avoid taking any stances he can be called on Day 2. It's actually pretty normal scum play.

Venmar town, deas idk. My gut says scum, but I can't see how deas/button or deas/arugula works. I think deas/arugula maybe makes more sense.

I don't like how buttonmen has had confusion over a bunch of stuff so far. Although, I don't know what this means.

Also, just now realized the absolutely ginormous flaw with deas's plan. It won't get agreement if the two supposed townies are actually town.

Actually, it was the whole "Town taking things into their own hands." I pretty much didn't read the rest that well.

Deas, because everyone disagrees with your plan, and some want you lynched. I feel if you had a scumbuddy they'd be supporting it, or at least not trying to get you lynched, or even have talked you out of the complete crappy plan you have. Also for asking me.

Going to go through possible scumteams in order of likeliness.

Arugula/Venmar - Not much to go on.
Arugula/Deas - Hmm. Interesting. I'm not sure on this, but I think this is too distancy for scum.
Arugula/Buttonmen - These were my two strongest scumreads, but they agreed with each other, and are kinda together. I think this is actually rather unlikely as a pair.
Buttonmen/Deas - Hmm. Not sure. Not much interaction.
Buttonmen/Venmar - Again, little interaction. This is the crucial pair in my mind though, so if arugula and deas could provide their thoughts?
Deas/Venmar - Very possible. If scum, they've been distancy, without being bussy.

Hmm, I'm not that sure on venmar anymore.

I think now, from towniest to scummiest, it's buttonmen-deas-null-venmar-arugula. Buttonmen was misinterpreting/misrepresenting a lot of stuff, which is why I assumed scum, but his interactions suggest not-scum.

Siv, that post contained no reasons as to why I am scum. You said you agree with Deas about Venmar, and later in that same post, you aren't sure about him? And your possible scumteam analysis points to me not being scum. Literally, you provided no reasoning for your vote and flip-flopped in the same post. This sets off TONS of alarm bells.

About the venmar contradiction, I was fairly convinced on venmar town upto that post, so the two points were separately saying the same thing, and I completely forgot to properly proof-check that.

But um, it's only unlikely of you being scum with deas or buttonmen, but you could still be scum with venmar. And that does look somewhat okay as a pairing. I do get the fact that venmar is probably a better idea for now.
