Anyway finally listened, like really listened to A Moon Shaped Pool. It was a great album. Decks Dark and Present Tense are the best songs by far. Radiohead didn't really do anything different but that doesn't make it a boring album (though The Numbers is really boring but that's just me) It's not agitating, or sad, and those are the things I expect from Radiohead but this album is more just like "Here we are, here you go" and then that's it.

But it's still great music, layered and everything, and I haven't even looked up the lyrics yet. The first time I heard it I didn't really think it was anything special but it's grown on me. One of the best of the year so far.

Also Chance The Rapper came out with something I guess. I thought Acid Rain was good but it hasn't aged well.

logic dropped his mixtape bobby tarantino and hinted at an upcoming album. it's new territory for logic, and while it's not really that good, i like a few of the songs and appreciate that he's trying a different approach before dropping fire.
