A mass prod has gone out. Current number voting stands at 7. If deadline were enacted the result would be

no lynch

. An additional vote would result in the lynch of

death_omen

regardless of who the actual vote was for.
(He currently has 2 votes and a vote on anyone else would result in a tie at best, leaving him lynched as the first to 2 votes.)


Deadline still stands for Thursday afternoon sometime. I'll review the status of the posting Thursday morning to decide whether to enact, retract, or delay the deadline.

We do need a vote, any vote now, because having day 1 end in a no lynch without any decent discussion what so ever is really bad.

That said, the topic title still say day 0, not day 1. Could that confuse some of the players, so they wouldn't post yet, or not even read the topic yet, because they think it hasn't really started yet? (okay, they should notice there's already 4 pages and such, but still).

Should she have voted for someone else? She unvoted because her initial vote was random. When it was explained that we really need a lynch here she puts a vote back on. Why is it a bad thing that she put it on the person who was the most likely to get lynched? Your reason for voting her is crap.

Not really, I was hoping to get some discussion going with just randomly hopping on someone and trying to start a bandwagon, but apparently that failed. Everyone seems pretty content just to vote for death_omen and be done with it. I have to wonder why though? If he dies it doesn't really tell us anything since there has been almost zero discussion.

Her simply voting for DO makes it harder to pull out of the lynch if something were to pop up causing his lynch to be a bad decision as we need 1 more vote on someone else to override it.

Her unvoting her random vote at that point was bad play, as doing so put us further away from the 8 votes needed to have a lynch at all, especially with infi people not posting and ~24 hours till deadline.

Can you explain the reasoning behind this for me? I can't see how you'd see someone posting without voting, at a time where a no lynch isn't really beneficial for scum, as scummy.

From what I can tell, you're basically asking for everyone to lay down a vote on someone without any reasoning (not that you could have much reasoning at this stage but still). If we end the day now, bandwagoning someone random we'll be in the same situation d1 as we are now, less a townie (most likely).

Its all the same reasons. If it's bad for the town, its good for at least 1 scum group.

With the information that we had when you posted that though, I doubt we would've gotten much information from, what most likely would be a townie's, lynching.

The way in which you were pressuring people to vote or be considered scummy I think could be you aiming for a quick lynch without giving away any information. It worked pretty well, but your unvoting when death_omen got to L-1 softens it a bit I guess.

I'm not saying that we should no lynch, but I don't think we should aim for a lynch without people commenting and giving reasons for their votes. If we do, we're practically giving the scum two kills and ending up right where we started.
