L-5? Isn't that 2 votes? Ummm.... not exactly what I would consider scummy. I would probably consider it more scummy that I said "let's start a bandwagon!" Your vote is valid, but not your reasoning.Awesome Pants wrote:OMG,unvote, vote: ~*Star*~for putting death_omen at L-5!!

A mass prod has gone out. Current number voting stands at 7. If deadline were enacted the result would beno lynch. An additional vote would result in the lynch ofdeath_omenregardless of who the actual vote was for.
(He currently has 2 votes and a vote on anyone else would result in a tie at best, leaving him lynched as the first to 2 votes.)
Deadline still stands for Thursday afternoon sometime. I'll review the status of the posting Thursday morning to decide whether to enact, retract, or delay the deadline.

We do need a vote, any vote now, because having day 1 end in a no lynch without any decent discussion what so ever is really bad.
That said, the topic title still say day 0, not day 1. Could that confuse some of the players, so they wouldn't post yet, or not even read the topic yet, because they think it hasn't really started yet? (okay, they should notice there's already 4 pages and such, but still)."I wish you hadn't done that."-

2 more people not voting need to vote NOW so we can ensure a lynch on anyone.
If anyone who isn't voting now posts after this and doesn't vote, I will automatically consider you one of my top scum suspects for trying to force a no lynch. I don't care who you vote for, just put a vote down so the day ends with a lynch.Away Wednesday the 24th through the 31st-

Wow, I dont really know how I can defend an arguement with the bottom line of the whole arguement being: lets lynch someone, anyone will do.
But heck I'll give it a go..
How is it legitimate? Please do explain.armlx wrote:Just responding to the mass prod.
Seriously people, make some god damned comment containing posts.
Legitimate vote on death_omen stands.

Ok firstly, there is so much lurking going on it isnt funny, there is people that have just responded for the 2 and 3rd time in the game.
Natirasha:
Monday night was three days ago (where I live), since then you have posted this and another post which contained my vote:<I'm going to be out of town until Monday night, so don't accuse me of lurking or stuff>
Meanwhile we have people like MafiaSSK who has not said a thing apart from confirming in thread in the first place.I'm here...I'm here.
(Massprod)
Then we have people saying: lets vote for the sake of it so we can spark some discussion.
@ Kabenon: All i can say to that is, what are you going to get out of it? So far every person who has so far voted for me has repiled with one liners with no content about the actual game bar a vote..Well, I suppose a DO lynch is better than a no-lynch. At the least, it could spark some discussion. Unvote, vote:death_omen
Vote: armlxFor starting this whole wagon on me, on the basis of a post with zero content..The journey to your destination is often much more important than the destination itself.

The argument was you were overly trying to attack people for not posting and "lurking", which merely leads to an a random lynch more or less. And listening to Kabenon's early game nonsense.
Your post has been adequate however, and we have bigger fish to fry.
Unvote, vote babygirl86
First she unvotes at a time we need votes to move onward, then when this is brought up simply fuels the existing fire when all we needed was a vote anywhere.Away Wednesday the 24th through the 31st-

Should she have voted for someone else? She unvoted because her initial vote was random. When it was explained that we really need a lynch here she puts a vote back on. Why is it a bad thing that she put it on the person who was the most likely to get lynched? Your reason for voting her is crap.armlx wrote:Unvote, vote babygirl86

Not really, I was hoping to get some discussion going with just randomly hopping on someone and trying to start a bandwagon, but apparently that failed. Everyone seems pretty content just to vote for death_omen and be done with it. I have to wonder why though? If he dies it doesn't really tell us anything since there has been almost zero discussion.kabenon007 wrote:I'd like to hear something from death_oman as to the votes on him. Unvote, Vote armlx
Her simply voting for DO makes it harder to pull out of the lynch if something were to pop up causing his lynch to be a bad decision as we need 1 more vote on someone else to override it.
Her unvoting her random vote at that point was bad play, as doing so put us further away from the 8 votes needed to have a lynch at all, especially with infi people not posting and ~24 hours till deadline.Away Wednesday the 24th through the 31st-

Can you explain the reasoning behind this for me? I can't see how you'd see someone posting without voting, at a time where a no lynch isn't really beneficial for scum, as scummy.armlx wrote:2 more people not voting need to vote NOW so we can ensure a lynch on anyone.

From what I can tell, you're basically asking for everyone to lay down a vote on someone without any reasoning (not that you could have much reasoning at this stage but still). If we end the day now, bandwagoning someone random we'll be in the same situation d1 as we are now, less a townie (most likely).
unvote,vote: armlx.
Yeah, it wasn't really meant to be a serious vote but more to provide a bit of possible discussion and to gauge your reaction.~*Star*~ wrote:

With the information that we had when you posted that though, I doubt we would've gotten much information from, what most likely would be a townie's, lynching.
The way in which you were pressuring people to vote or be considered scummy I think could be you aiming for a quick lynch without giving away any information. It worked pretty well, but your unvoting when death_omen got to L-1 softens it a bit I guess.
I'm not saying that we should no lynch, but I don't think we should aim for a lynch without people commenting and giving reasons for their votes. If we do, we're practically giving the scum two kills and ending up right where we started.Currently being used By MafiaSSK for Chess Mafia. With all due permission from AP himself.
