I want an explanation of why you felt that the scum would not likely kill today. I had the feeling that you were hinting at an ability of yours, which is why I unvoted you.

Let's say I believed that last night was going to be endgame, with both you and Coron scum, Hack. ;)
What do you think about the possibility that Coron is a scum riddler that can only kill by giving people riddles to solve?
I don't know. It seems a bit underpowered for the mafia and the game in general. Maybe scum had a nightkill when Chief was alive? It seems more likely an extra kill, considering the amount of threats against the town. Doesn't change the fact that i really, really hate riddles right now...
Well, I forgot about the riddler I must admit, however, I still believe there are 2 scum left, with 3 alive as town that means that both of you are in fact scum.
That would mean the game is over. I think it's more likely that there's scum and a survivor or something, but not two scum.

Eh... good call, I was more thinking about some sort of secret oath that I didn't even think of that...

I'm leaning towards voting Coron at the moment, just because I have no reason to doubt HH, even though I did during last night.

If you have 2 scum in 2 groups left the game is not over with 3 alive, however in a situation like this it is very hard for town to win.

I wasn't hinting at a power, I simply noted that the other kill had only happened twice or so on a ridiculous number of nights.

1. ChannelDelibird - Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde - Duo-personality? Alrighty then! On odd days and nights, you will be Dr. Jekyll, a cop, town aligned. As a cop you can investigate the DNA and psychological behavior of one player each night to determine if they are aligned with the town or not. On even days and nights, you will transform into Mr. Hyde, a town aligned forced vigilante. As Mr. Hyde, each night you must choose one player to try to kill at night.
You win when all threats to the town are eliminated.


2. HackerHuck/Draygn_mage - Mason Doc Coptor - On night one, you get to choose a mason partner. You will be able to talk with your mason partner at night. (If you send this choice in before night one hits, you will have the full first night to talk with him. Otherwise you may only get a part of the night, if any.) On night two, you get a to protect one other player from being killed at night, On night three, you get an investigation on any other player.
You win when all threats to the town are eliminated.


3. Coron - The Void: You are a self aligned Serial Killer. When you are targeted by someone, that person dies and in most cases their ability fails, but only if they’re the only person to target you that night. Otherwise none of the players targeting you die, and their abilities will be successful. (Doc protection doesn’t save a player from dying by your affect)
You win when the rest of the town is dead.

Lawmaker succeeds. Wheel of Misfortune succeeds (only the vote block would do anything if WoM would die).


4. Jack - A Jar of Dirt. You are town aligned, and you pour a little of yourself out every night on another player to protect them from being killed by the Kraken.
You win when all threats to the town are eliminated.

Notes: There is no kraken in this game, so the dirt is essentially a vanilla townie who can target players.


5. Milkman - Wheel of Misfortune. Each night you choose a player and do one of the following randomly. You aren’t told which you do, and once you do it, you can’t do it again. Possibilities:
  1. Voteblock
  2. redirect all other abilities targeting that player to that abilities owner
  3. Roleblock
  4. nullify all other abilites targeting that player.
You win when all threats to the town are eliminated.


6. Twito - The Sphinx. You are a mafia with Masterchief, HypnoToad. You are a Sphinx, and each night you will target a player who will be given a riddle, and have a limited amount of time to solve that riddle. If he can’t solve it in the time allotted, he dies. Now you know you are superior to everybody here, so you want to prove inferior to you by killing them off.

The riddle you give will allow anywhere from 3-7 days for the target to solve. You have 2 riddles for each number of days, and you may choose how long you want that player to have. Just remember that the more difficult riddles will give them a longer amount of time, and the riddles with less time will be the easiest.
You win when the rest of the town is dead.

Notes: (They are sent the question publicly at the start of day and are told how long they have.)


7. Y - Sleeping Beauty – Roleblocker. Each night you may target a player. If you do, you will sing that player to sleep next to you, preventing them from using any abilities that night.
You win when all threats to the town are eliminated.


8. HurriKaty - Jimmy The Casino Manager - you're jimmy the casino manager. at night you get a bet to predict someone's night choice (who they will target). if you predict this correctly, you get an investigation that you may use during the day. You will send this investigation target to me via PM.
You win when all threats to the town are eliminated.

Notes: The prediction bet does not target. The day investigation does target though, and will kill Jimmy if he targets The Void. He will die during the day.


9. Zindaras - Lawmaker - each night you must choose a player other than yourself or your most recent target to create a new law or remove a previous law. If any existing law is broken, the law-breaker will be sent to jail and punished until the following day.
You win when all threats to the town are eliminated.

Notes: You have been chosen to create a new law or remove a current law for the game. Since no current law exists, your only option is to create a new law.

This law will go into affect as soon as day starts, and all players will be required to abide by your law as long as it is in effect. Any infraction of this law will result in the arrest of said player, preventing them from voting the rest of that day or committing to night actions that night.

Now you can't just go around making any law you wish, you are restricted in what type of a law you can create.

Laws may not take affect based on the alignment/status of a player, or an out of game characteristic of a player (i.e. number of consanants in a name. Region the player lives in, etc.).
For example, a law may not say “Only town aligned players can vote.”
Any law that would contradict a previous law will overwrite any previous laws that contradict it, or it will erase itself if it is contradictory and creates a paradox within itself.

Laws may not affect something that has already happened, only what happens currently while the law is in effect.

Here is an example of acceptable and not acceptable laws.
Ex. Of Wrong use: Alko is untargetable at night.
Ex. Of Right use: You may not target Alko at night.
Ex. Of Wrong use: Players with names longer than 4 characters must vote themselves.
Ex. Of Rigth use: You may not go longer than 5 days without posting.
Ex. Of Right use: You may not say the word "Butterfly"
Remove all laws once the lawmaker is dead.

Player is told privately that he may make a new law, and the new law is sent via PM to me. I publicly announce “[Playername] has just enforced [New Law] which is in effect IMMEDIATELY. Violation of this law will result in being arrested. You will remain under arrest until the start of a new day. While under arrest, you may not vote or send in any role abilities.”



10. AngusHutchsky - Leonardo da vinci - you are an artist. Send me the picture before night ends. At night you may create a picture(via email attachment or photobucket or other option). At the beginning of day, this picture will be posted for everybody to see. You may paint anything in your pictures. I will censor anything in the picture that I deem not fit for the town to see (If you are unsure if something will be censored, ask me. You will not be punished is something is censored, so sending something and having part of it censored may be better than sending nothing at all).
You win when all threats to the town are eliminated.

<><><><><><><><><><><><>

Notes: Things to be censored will include specific names or words (with exceptions in some cases). Basically something giving a direct message. I want more of an interpretation of the picture type of thing.


11. now a ranger/AniX/Stalling Champ - The Burger King: You are The Burger King! You always freak out people when they wake up next to you, but it’s ok, you calm them down with a nice sandwich. Too bad they won’t help you any in this game.
You win when all threats to the town are eliminated.


12. MasterChief - HypnoToad - Mafia with Twito, The Sphinx. Since any glare on you is so hypnotizing, as long as the Sphinx is alive to handle the kills, you convince anybody who investigates you to see you as town.
You win when the rest of the town is dead.

Notes: When the sphinx dies, gains the ability to kill, but loses his ability to turn up town in investigation. Each wrong answer to the riddle shortens the deadline by two hours.

Lawmaker was a unique role I wanted to test out, and it proved not too bad of a role, but when players were too inactive to use it, that one rule really started to kill the game.

The sphinx role was weaker than a typical scum role, but was meant to add a little extra something to the game (which I regret now). Hypnotoad was added to make him stronger, but was killed off on the first day. Also, Twito, if you plan to use lurking as a strategy, tell the mod or else you will be replaced. I don't accept "I'm here, I'm reading" as a post saying you're here and active.

Leonardo daVinci was a useless role, but merely one with a confirmable ability that the town could wonder as to the purpose of. (But not everything has a point).

Jekyll and Hyde were orginally an SK/town Cop type role, but was used once in scumchat as vig/cop, which worked better here because an SK/cop works well in scumchat, but I didn't want to mix something like that in the forum.

The casino manager is most of the time a pretty weak role. In a sense a very weak tracker role, but at the end of the game, it would be much more useful. It's a pretty powerful ability once you get the guess correct, and also could've been more powerful if more collaboration was used to direct this role, however that would've all been on Katy since nobody else knew about it.

The Void was an interesting twist on the SK role I wanted to try, and I think worked out pretty well. I had to modify a few things from the chatmafia version to make it balanced and fair.

Mason Doc Coptor didn't get too much use, but from what I heard of last night's masonship (masons with Twito/scope), it sounded pretty fun, but was never used before that really.

A jar of dirt protects against the Krakken, which we didn't have, so essentially a vanilla townie, or a drunk role.

Wheel of Misfortune just didn't get used, and I screwed up when it should've been a compulsive ability, but I didn't make it such.

I honestly didn't think there were two scum still left and I actually got a pretty good feeling from Scope after our conversation. I'm a little cursed I think, because I've never had a mason partner who turned out to be town.
