Yes that is how this setup works. There were two kills last night. A serial killer is already dead, thus the only possible role responsible is a vigilante. Yes it's possible for there to be 2 vigilantes, but how probable is it they both exist and both chose to target alchemist on Night 2?

The setup is T or TTT, V or VVV or VVVVV and M or MMM. I infer that there is just one vig and just one mason-like role. Which leaves a lot of place for cops, doctors and roleblockers.

What the fuck are you talking about? Cops doctors and Roleblockers would not explain a second death at night. The only possible explanation for a second death at night is serial killer or vigilante and the SK is already dead. Thus, the vig claim that was just made could only be refuted by another vig who is claiming they shot alchemist as well. Since our current claim is of a 1-shot vig, any body counter claiming 1-shot as well would guarantee us having found scum since there is only 1 1-shot

here is my problem with this. if as scum, you now say person X is town, and that person claims and says he is the cop, you are obviously lying.

if you wait, you can tailor your claim as you see fit.

there is no reason to NOT claim as town who you targeted. though as scum, i guess you could have waited to claim...At least say if the people you targeted are still in the game or not.


also, if I havent claimed yet...I am plain old vanilla.

My investigations were Marcrell on N1 and Alchemist on N2. I investigated Marcrell on N1 because he was my number one scumread during the first day (see 170). I was very suspicious about his V/LA (this is not to say that I doubt he was actually V/LA, I just think he used his absence as an excuse to skate by the end of the day without really taking any firm stands that could get him into trouble) at the end of the day (see 438), coupled with my pressure of him early in the game that I thought made him look worse to me than not. When I received a guilty on N1, I then pushed him even harder (see 449) and was trying to be as relentless as possible without having to claim my results. Unfortunately on N2 I investigated Alchemist rather than DLA. I was suspicious of both players going into the night (see 809), but I ultimately decided to go with investigating Alchemist because of Marcrell's claim of protecting him with his fake doctor claim and my earlier support of DLA as a townie (moreso than Alchemist).

I do believe Collatz. I'm still comfortable with that townread.

We need to hear from md as the last person to claim, and I also need random to give me more detail about his claim.

It's possible that both randomidget and I are both unlimited cops. Assuming that Collatz is not lying about his number of shots, the only other option is:

If one of the remaining scum is a godfather, then randomidget is telling the truth. If both remaining scum are goons, then he's lying. If both randomidget and I are telling the truth, then the last two scum must be Otolia and ckd.

One additional note, the best play for a mafia goon to make here would be to fakeclaim cop with an innocent result on their godfather. Given that I have townreads on Otolia and ckd, my gut tells me randomidget is probably lying and DLA is a godfather, but I'll let others chime in with their thoughts as well. I'm not 100% committed to that, but randomidget is going to have to sell me pretty damn hard on him being a cop with some real evidence from his post history.
