Account Services Department


1 player will recieve the following PM:
Head of Account Services Role PM wrote:Congratulations, you are the Head of Account Services at Generic Ad Agency. You have the tiring job of taking care of those lazy account executives as well as personally handle clients. You are an important and underappreciated part of the agency's work, but at least the pay's good enough to buy a small country.

You have access to the agency mail server, the Account Services department's mail server, and the management mail server; due to current circumstances all other forms of communication have been banned. Still, the show must go on.

In the first phase of each day, the Account Services Department's employees have to choose up to 3 (three) of 5 (five) presented accounts.
Each account is an ability; the details will be included in each brief. The first phase of the day ends when you have reached a consensus. Your vote counts double for this first phase.

Creative Department


1 player will recieve the following PM:
Creative Director Role PM wrote:Congratulations, you are the creative director at Generic Ad Agency.
You are the sole ruler of the creative department, and second only in the agency to the CEO. Head of Account Services? Just a title without power in comparison.

You have access to the agency mail server, the Creative Department's mail server, and the management mail server; due to current circumstances all other forms of communication have been banned. Still, the show must go on.

Each day, after the first phase is complete, and before the second phase begins, you may assign the chosen accounts to the creative teams.
You also have a one-shot ability to change the Creative Teams' pairings, with the clause that Copywriters may only be paired with Art Directors and vice versa. If all Copywriters or all Art Directors are eliminated, you gain a one-shot ability to pair up any remaining Copywriters or Art Directors with other Copywriters or Art Directors respectively.
3 players will recieve the following PM:
Copywriter Role PM wrote:Congratulations, you are a copywriter at Generic Ad Agency.
You are one of the people who design ads, writing their scripts, their mottos. You also get to smoke pot at work.

You have access to the agency mail server, the Creative Department's mail server, and a seperate server for your creative team; due to current circumstances all other forms of communication have been banned. Still, the show must go on.

You are one half of a creative team; your partner is AAAA, an art director. During the second phase of each day, you may be assigned accounts to work on; each account is an ability; the details will be included in each brief. You may decide to use these abilities any time during the second phase of that day.

You are one of the people who create ads, designing the graphics, the layout. Also, you get to smoke pot at work.

You have access to the agency mail server, the Creative Department's mail server, and a seperate server for your creative team; due to current circumstances all other forms of communication have been banned. Still, the show must go on.

You are one half of a creative team; your partner is AAAA, a copywriter. During the second phase of each day, you may be assigned accounts to work on; each account is an ability; the details will be included in each brief. You may decide to use these abilities any time during that phase of that day.
In addition, each player will receive a seperate PM containing their alignment and win condition. The town PM will look like this:

Behavior


(0) Follow the site rules. That means no discussion of ongoing games especially (exceptions are mod-revealed information; if you are unsure about a specific thing, contact both the mod of the referenced game and this one)

(2) Play to win.
(2b)Claiming a player to be your scum partner is generally considered a direct infraction of rule (2).
(3) I will be posting in dark red. Please don't use dark red, or in colours that are hard to read.
(4) I don't mind profanity, but respect your fellow players. As a mod, I will only take action if the offended party PMs me with their objections; I request that any such PMs include the list of offending posts, so that I can make a decision.
(5) Quoting of mod communications is

(5b) For this reason, night actions will be acknowledged by quoting the original message back to the sender; any result or answer to questions will be communicated in as simple a full sentence as possible, without any quotes. Warnings will be public.

Activity Levels and Prods


(8) If a player doesn't post in any game-related thread in 72 hours, they will be prodded. In practice, this might not happen on every occasion; please be patient, my schedule is pretty tight.
(9) Players may request a prod on another player at any time, either by PM or by posting in thread. Note that this will not count towards the "three strikes" (see Rule (11)) without 72 hours' inactivity.
(10) Not picking up a prod within 72 hours will result in replacement.
(11) If I have to prod you more than three times in a game-day or more than five times overall, you will be replaced.
(12) If you are on V/LA, please take the time to either post to that effect in-thread or PM me.

Voting, Lynches, and Deadlines


(13) Please vote in bold, such as

Unvoting is not necessary, but I'd prefer it if you did anyway.
(13b) You may use nicknames and acronyms when voting, as long as it is clear exactly whom you are referring to.
(13c) Please place your votes at the beginning or the end of your posts, in a seperate line, otherwise I may miss it.
(13d) Minor formatting issues will be ignored and the vote will count; in general, if the intent is obvious, the vote will count. As a mod, I don't endorse trick votes.
(14) I will try to post vote counts on every page. Vote counts will be in seperate posts for clarity, as well as edited into the first post of the page.
(15) A lynch will require the votes of a majority of players (half of all living players plus one). When a majority is reached, no further votes/unvotes will be counted.
(15b) If the game reaches deadline before a majority lynch happens, the player with the most votes at that time will be lynched. In the event of a tie, the player who had the most votes (of those tied) before the tie will be lynched.
(16) Each game day will have a mostly non-negotiable deadline of
3 days+(number of living players)x2 days.
However, special circumstances may lead to deadline extension.
(17) Posting in twilight is acceptable, for both the lynchee and town members. Feel free to post as much or as little as you want of whatever you like.
(18) Once your death scene is posted, you may make only
one "bah" post
. Make sure it has no game relevant information, or someone in your faction may be punished for the infraction.

Miscellaneous


(19) If you fake breaking a rule, or I percieve you as breaking a rule, it will incur the same punishment as actually breaking the rule. I do not take well to my rules' loopholes being lawyered.
(20) I'm not infallible. Please be patient if I make mistakes. If you notice something, notify me in-thread, preferably in the following format:

(21) For game purposes, my word is sacred, and my decision final. See rule (20).
(22) I reserve the right to add rules if necessary.

Game Specific


(23) Each Day of the game will have two main phases: Morning Meeting and Working Hours.
(24) During Morning Meeting, the members of the Account Services Department will be required to choose up to three seperate role actions ("accounts") from a list of role actions unique to each Day.
(24b) Morning Meeting is defined as the interval starting at the announced start of the Day and ending when the members of the Account Services Department have come to a majority decision.
(25) Between Morning Meeting and Working Hours, the Creative Director will be required to assign the role actions chosen by the Account Services Department to the Creative Teams.
(25b) Each Creative Team may be assigned up to two role actions; note, however, that one player can only perform one action.
(25c) Individual Creative Department Members (those who have lost one half of their Creative Team) may not be assigned any role actions.
(25d) However, note that the Creative Director has a one-shot ability to reshuffle the Creative Team pairings, and if all three Teams have been broken up, the Creative Director also has a one-shot ability to pair up Creative employees of the same type (copywriter with copywriter or art director with art director).
(26)During Working Hours, players may vote to lynch other players; role actions may also be performed during this phase. Working Hours are divided into three sub-phases: Morning, Afternoon and Twilight.
(26b) Morning is defined as the 72 hour interval at the start of each Working Hours phase.
(26c) Afternoon is defined as the interval starting at the end of Morning as per Rule (23b) and ending either when the lynching vote is placed or when deadline hits.
(26d) Twilight is defined as the interval between the end of Afternoon as per Rule (23c) and the mod's post declaring the start of next Morning.
(27) Role action submissions may be submitted during Morning and Afternoon of the Working Hours.
(27b) Role actions submitted during Morning resolve simultaneously at the end of Morning, to avoid a race for being the first to send an action in.
(27c) Role actions submitted during Afternoon resolve instantaneously.
(27d)Immediate actions' public results (if any), most notably kills will be posted between 0 and 24 hours of me opening the PM, to avoid Time Zone differences breaking the game.
(28)If the Creative Director and CEO both die, and the CEO hasn't used up their one-shot ability, a
one time
public vote may be conducted to elect a new Creative Director.

Role resolution:


Immediate actions: alignment investigate, kill--within 0-24 hours if public
rest of day actions: protect, roleblock, track, watch, plant evidence (Framer and Undertaker), busdrive--exact time stamps
end of day actions: track (result), watch (result), alignment investigate (result)--after lynch scene


Note: the one-shot abilities of the CEO and the Creative Director are Immediate Actions and cannot be blocked or redirected.

Also, if any one wants to debate the choice of abilities, do it relatively soon...we have a month to finish the entire day so we shouldn't tary terribly long especially when the choice is this obvious. There is a risk of giving PGO to scum. My choice is basically random at the moment, and I am not interested in seeing PGO be given to scum.

Not totally random, but there isnt going to be a lot to go on when i hand out these abilities.
