Rules
1. I am the mod. Any decision I make is final. I’m not perfect however, so if I make a mistake, please tell me. If you have a question, make sure to PM me, or ask in bold text.
2. This is a game. The goal is to have fun, and I will not tolerate people verbally abusing each other or any other mean acts towards another player. If this happens, it will result in a warning. Second time results in a modkill.
3. No invisible text, codes, editing or deleting posts.
4. No quoting anything written by the mod, whether it be true or false.
5. No talking about the game with anyone outside the thread unless your role specifically says so.
6. I expect you to fully commit to this game. If you do not post in a 72 hour period, you will be prodded. If you do not respond to the prod within 48 hours, you will be replaced. I’m rarely on top of this, so you can request someone to be prodded if you want to.
7. When you die, no more posting. You are allowed one bah post and that’s it.
8. Any question on anything Pokemon related, either ask me or check
www.smogon.com or
www.serebii.net
9. Play to win. If you are not, expect a modkill.
10. Have fun!
Special Rules
1.There will be no day or night phases. There will be two phases similar to the two: attack phase and resolution phase.
2. During the attack phase, you will choose to attack someone by saying
Attack: Slicey
. If you want to unvote, or not attack at all, you must say
Cancel Attack
. If you don’t want to attack, you must say
Do Nothing.
Once you are happy with your selection, you will say
Confirm Attack: Slicey
Beware, once you confirm attack someone you cannot change it. The day will end when everyone has confirmed attack someone or the deadline hits. If you do not confirm attack someone, the last person you ‘voted’ (attacked) will be attacked.
3. The first attack phase will have a two week deadline, all others will have a strict one week deadline. If a replacement is needed, the deadline will be extended by 3 days.
4. During the resolution phase, players may still talk but may not attack anyone. All players must PM me what move they are going to use. You can send me what move you want to use as soon as you confirm attack someone. The resolution phase will last however long it takes me to do the calculations, but will always take at least 48 hours.
5. After the Resolution phase the next attack phase begins. This trend will continue for the entire game.
6. Because there are no night phases, the mafia will be allowed to daytalk. The mafia will consist of two members. The remaining 8 players will all be townies. Here are the role PM’s (to prevent metagaming)
Mafia
You are a member of the mafia, along with your partner, XXXXX. You will do anything and everything to win. You can talk with your mafia buddy here (XXXXX). You win when all town players are eliminated.
Town
You are an ordinary townie. You have no powers. You must eliminate the evil Pokemon trainers. You win when all mafia members are eliminated.
7. When a player has both their Pokemon KO’ed, they are eliminated. Alignment will be shown.
8. I will not go into detail in how I calculate damage. Do not ask.
9. The order the Pokemon move is based on their speed. The fastest Pokemon gets to go first, and the slowest last.
10. If the Pokemon you wanted to attack is KO'ed before you get to move, you will then attack whatever Pokemon replaces the KO'ed one. If the player is eliminated before you get to move, you do nothing.
11. If you want to use a move on yourself, such as a stat increasing move, just say
Target: Self.
