Moving from old forum to new forum?

If you were running a game before the crash, or are currently running off the post-crash mini list, post here. Let me know whether you intend to resume the game with whatever cache you've got, start a new game, or not run a game at this time. If you have something caches that you haven't put in the cache folder, post here to let us know what you have, and ask questions if you need help ftping.

I'd also like to get a list of finished games reconstructed. If you have any information there, post it here.

I'll set a tentative deadline of a week for giving your intention to resume or restart a game; after that, we'll get the waiting lists running again and we'll hopefully be back to normal. :)

Games to be moved:

DP 6 (pre-crash) - DP is moving
In/Dependent Mafia (pre-crash) - may be moved, no cache
Intrigue (pre-crash) - resuming
London (pre-crash) - resuming
Mini 33 (pre-crash) - may be moved, no cache
Mini 44 (post-crash) - moved
Mini 45 (post-crash) - moved
Mini 46 (post-crash) - moved

I'm currently running "Still Alive?" mafia off the post crash list, and would like it moved here.

Thanks!

The post-crash list games should be fairly easy to move, if I understand such things correctly. It'll be the cached stuff that's a pain. :)

Actually, 46, at least, could just be restarted here. There's nothing in the thread yet. :)

And there's not a whole lot in yours, I might just move the non-confirm posts manually or something, we'll see.

I definetly want to finish out In/Dependent Mafia. THough, unfortunetly I don't have any caches with the info needed. Hopefully someone else does?
Ever wonder why that edit button is obnoxiously placed in the center like that? Yeah, that's cause of me.. and trust me, it's better off there.

I haven't spoken to Leonidas yet, but I don't have anything cached. Though I'm willing to continue the game if Leonidas will. We'll let you guys know.

Alright, does this mean you're going to continue the game but you don't have your alias? Or does this mean that the game is over? ~trembles slightly~ I was really hoping to continue this one.

As was I. I was enjoying London Mafia, frustrating as it was. Oh, and you can change your sig now, MeMe... *Evil grin* You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is "Never get involved in a land war in Asia." But only slightly less well known is this: "Never ignore a Werebear when mafia is on the line."

Do not tremble, do not fear,

London Mod shall be back soon.
I'll resurrect him today, and we'll get going again.

After Wednesday, I will be able to sort through things and get them going again. Until then, if someone wants to make some lists and get cache together and such, go for it. :P

The H-Dog won't be starting the Midstate Mini back up.
I don't have any game saved. Nor will I be able to restart the game because I just don't have the time.

However, if there is any interest I would be willing to post roles and their descriptions.

Alright, here we go...

*DP 6 has been be resumed. Old posts were put in the thread by DP himself, and I will have to check with jeep to see if it would be feasible to reinsert them somehow.

In/Dependent is undecided as yet, I am not aware of any cache for it.

Intrigue and London Mafia will both be resuming. Some parts of Intrigue are still available on the archive board, and those should be easily moveable. Much of London Mafia is cached, and that will require a script of some sort unless I end up having *way* more time than I expect to. However, I see no reason that a thread could not be started, with links, and then when we are able to insert the old stuff into the database, the new stuff could just be tacked on to the end of that (same for DP 6, actually).

Mini 33, no cache yet.

*44-46 have already resumed and are moved.

Completed text for mini 28 and 32 are available in the cache folder; eventually, those will either be put back into the archive board, or stored on the main site in some other archival manner.

All other old games are now considered dead, and the waiting list process will resume as normal.

Okay, so what's the deal with intriguing? It's only going to be kept alive if someone comes forward with some serious cache? <-- Play on words...get it? Ha! (But it's still a serious question).

On a related note, I've decided to call the Blinvitational in favor of the town. I'll explain my decision and post all the cool stuff after my qualifying exams (i.e. Monday or so).
