The people all wake up as they normally do, eat their breakfasts as they normally do, and perform their hygenic duties as they normally do. However, they most certainly do not begin their work as they normally do. This is because Fuzzyman, the clerk, is not there to clock them in.
"The Mafia!", Cirdua yells, with a few of his colleagues nodding angrily. "They've been inching towards a takeover of this town for years, and we've done nothing to fight it!
Everybody in the crowd begins to inch towards LyingBrian, who had been known to make some unethical decisions in business.
"No!", he exclaims, "I'm not the one you're looking for. In fact, Hayker has already confessed to me, privately."
"You scapegoating fool," she replies in turn, "you're just blaming me to save your own behind."
A mob erupts with slogans, obscenities, and cries of every sort. However, be it for the fortune or misfortune of the town, magisterrain badly bumps his head on a sign that readsMagisterrain's injury brings attention to the sign, and everybody reads it in unison. Everybody moves into the hall, and waits for the first person to speak.
