This is the new mafiascum.net board. Things should go about the same once things get back to normal. A few things to notice, though.

1. There are two new forums. Site Ideas is for anything involving jeep's modifications, style creation, suggestions for pages on the main site, and things like that. Some of the stuff that will go there might start out somewhere else, but that's ok, you'll figure out when you need to move there.

The Whole Sort of General Mish Mash is a new place to play other games than Mafia (gasp). Check it out.

2. We still need to get any games that were running restarted, and get the moderator lists reorganized based on that. Check Queue for details.

3. The old forum is still around, at http://www.mafiascum.net/archive . I will turn off all the forums there eventually, but feel free to discuss moving details there if that would be more helpful.

Hopefully we'll be back to normal soon. Thanks for being patient with us!

So...should we continue to keep playing the brand-spankin' new games (Minis 44-46) on the old board? Or do you prefer we wait until they're brought over?

You can keep playing them there until we move them. Heck, you can finish them there if you want.

Can't the threads just be pasted over to this board relatively painlessly? If this really would be a serious effort forget I mentioned it. It's really no big deal.

It would be relatively painless... but if it's just mini-games going then I think we should just let them finish on the old board.

I'm for them moving, at the very least so that players/mods of those games don't have to check two different forums.

Due to the nature of my game, it may be lasting a bit longer than a traditional mini, plus I'd rather not have to check two boards... if it isn't too much trouble, I'd like the mini games moved.

I was just reading up on the old board where mith suggested just having the "temp" games start fresh -- I don't think that we should start completely over, but it does seem to be the easiest solution for the mods to just open a new thread over here. I know that in Toybox all that would be necessary is for PB to post the Night 1 death scene and the current vote count and we could go from there -- looks like the same could be done in Still Alive, and Robots is still in the confirm stages, so that game shouldn't be a problem either.

Sure. We could even just cut and paste everything so far in Toybox into one post for reference. I would prefer to start playing on the new board.

The whole point of moving the threads is so that we aren't missing posts.

I can move the post-crash games easily enough though, and I know jeep can do them faster. 45 is already moved, 46 can just start here since it's just in confirming. 44 will be here shortly, I hope.

Well I know what the purpose is -- what I didn't know how was how easy it is to cut and paste the posts and I figured we could always read the archive if we're dying to see the early game.

That said, since it's so easy, why not just move the other games over here without waiting on Foolster & PolarBoy?

However, exams start in 6 days... so my participation will be minimal. I'll keep my eye on the free market theme list I'm moderating.
