The sun had not yet crept over the horizon when a scream awoke the citizens of Town Ville. As they ran outside, alert, they learned that a message had been drawn on everyone’s front doors – in blood.
“Your town has been invaded. You will die.”
And below lay the postman with blood running down his cheek from a wound in his head. A neatly folded envelope lay beside him. A citizen opened it, and read:
“We are amongst you. I, and my fellow mafia partner, who has the power to block a person’s night move. We know your defense as well. You have a doctor and nurse, or maybe a cop and deputy cop. Either way you stand no chance.

The citizens of Town Ville were in shock. Mafias? In their peaceful village? How could it be? They looked around, trying to look for clues about who could be mafia, but found none. And then the discussions began.

You are a cop. You have the ability to vote at day, and investigate a player at night time. You will receive a notification from me, the Mod, before the night ends about the role alignment of the player you investigated. There is a deputy cop who will take your position in case of your death, if she/he is still alive at the time. You do not know who the deputy cop is, the deputy cop doesn’t know who you are. Mutual.
You win when the mafias are eliminated.

There is a nurse who will take your position in case of your death, if she/he is still alive at the time. You do not know who the nurse is, the nurse doesn’t know who you are. Mutual.

Either one (if there is a doctor) or zero (if there is a cop and deputy) people got:

You are a nurse. You have the ability to vote at day, but no powers at night time, unless the doctor has already been killed. In that case, you overtake his/her role, and are able to protect a player from being killed by Mafia at night time. You do not know who the doctor is, the doctor doesn’t know who you are. Mutual.
You win when the mafias are eliminated.

One person got:

You are a mafia goon. You have the ability to vote at day, and the power to kill a player at night time. You have a mafia partner, _______, who is a mafia roleblocker. She/he has the power to block a player from performing his/her night action at night. In the case of your death, she/he will take over your role, and be able to kill a player and block a player in the same night. However, you will not receive the mafia roleblocker’s power in the case of his/her death.
You win when the town aligned players are eliminated.

One person got:

You are a mafia roleblocker. You have the ability to vote at day, and the power to block a player from performing his/her night action at night. You have a mafia partner, _______, who is a mafia goon. She/he has the power to kill a player at night time. In the case of his/her death, you will overtake his/her role and be able to kill a player at night time as well as block a player, but in the case of your death, your power of blocking will not be transferred to the mafia goon.
You win when the town aligned players are eliminated.

General Rules

1. Have FUN! This is a game!
   
2. The Mod should be respected and his posts should be followed.
   
3. Treat each other as you want to be treated yourself. No harassing, prejudice, or anything else along those lines will be tolerated.

Game Rules

1. All votes must be
   bolded

2. Unvotes are nice, but I will count your vote if you forget it when re-voting.
   
3. You may vote “No Lynch”.
   
4. Once a majority of the players (1/2 of the players + 1, rounded down), a lynch will take place.
   
5. If a majority isn’t reached, a no lynch will take place.
   
6. Unvoting will not change a player’s fate during twilight.
   
7. A player is not lynched until a death scene is posted, so he or she MAY POST during twilight, but not the following day, apart from a short, non game related post.
   
8. Nights are 72 hours. If you have not PMed me your actions by then, the same action as with a “No Action” will be taken.
   
9. Days are 3 weeks long. You may ask for an extension, but it is not sure that it will be granted.
   
10. No quoting or fake-quoting any mod PMs will be tolerated.
    
11. Players with night actions may not perform this in Night 0 (Confirmation stage), apart from the mafia team who get 72 hours to chat pre-game.
    
12. Players with night actions may choose to send “No Action” to the Mod, hence choosing to skip their night action for the night. In the event where this leads to “No Lynch” at day and “No Action” at night, a chain of 5 (No lynch, no action, no lynch, no action, no lynch or vice versa) will end in a happy ever after ending.
    
13. Prods will be issued after 4 days’ inactivity. A prodded player has 48 hours to reply, before a replacement is looked after.

Do you believe in policy lynching and why?

Not as a matter of course. However I do believe that sometimes a player may play so particularly anti-town that it is impossible to tell them from a scum player, thus warranting a lynch. I'm not sure if you would consider this a policy lynch or not.

In general, lynching town is not a route to victory, thus I don't believe in policy lynching in general.

Do you think scum lurk more then town?

I think bad scum players lurk more than town. However I think good scum players do their best to blend in with the town, not lurk. Lurking draws attention to one's self, which is a bad strategy for scum.

How active would you say you are in a game?

It depends on real world commitments. I would say I will be moderately active this game. I'll be checking the thread a few times a day, and commenting roughly the same number of times.

Do you believe in policy lynching and why?

Depends on the size of the game. Bigger games with more players I would policy lynch in towards day 2 or 3 depending on the game as typically scum will just keep them around or they are scum using there meta to get away with things.

Do you think scum lurk more then town?

I've seen both. I've seen town lurk but it's typically ones that are usually quiet. I think I usually expect those who are active in games to be active in all games or it looks scum motivated. Basically actively lurking is more times scum then town.

How active would you say you are in a game?

I post mostly during the days/afternoon time. Weekends I do my best to post at least twice a day if I can. I get really busy on the weekends though.
Night times varies on if the hubby will let me use the computer.
I post a lot if everyone is active and things move but if more people stall and are not answering questions it's hard to move past those who say nothing.
