I object to gender-normativity. I've known many women who where better at leading backwards than I was forwards.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.
I wouldn't have expected it, but I am too. This has been a really awful week for me on several levels, and generically posting around here has been surprisingly therapeutic.
Everything you say and do matters. People will respond in ways you may never see. May those responses be what you intend.
One of the interesting things about going to religious all-girls schools and camps throughout my youth was that despite plenty of enforced gender-normative standards (I guess), a lot of things that are heavily gendered in wider society just weren't. If you wanted to waltz, you waltzed with a girl. The school play had male characters? Girls played all the characters.

I always thought that was weird. "This is a catholic school, no gay stuff. Now put on this dress, we're doing Bye Bye Birdie this month."

Maybe Subservience to Protocol isn't tantamount to Solution to Problem ...
"A little bit of yourself goes a long way"
Blue paint strokes of sadness that leave a trace of meaningfulness
Tell me, O Karen,
Do you feel better
After getting your pound of flesh?

Looking up the people in it made me learn who Matt Mercer is
I cannot explain how happy I am that the guy behind There Will Be Brawl had a minor role in the latest Smash Bros game
(also the group has Phoenix Wright and Apollo Justice)

I hate myself.
The John Lennon Rule (he famously said the following) is that time you enjoyed is time NOT wasted. But certainly don't do the same thing again if you didn't like doing so.
