Freak vortex causes alien invasion

Today at 7 PM, A huge vortex opened up, from which numerous humanoid life forms erupted. Eye witnesses report the aliens seemed perplexed, but then proceded to merge among themselves and otherwise act like they own the place. The police commissioner was quoted earlier today and explained that he "has no goddamned clue" what caused the vortex, or what came out of it. We will bring you updates as more information is available.

Big victory for human rights activists

NASA scientists finished the sun-modification process today. As our readers know, human rights activists have been pushing for this modification, which will make everyone look exactly the same in daylight, eliminating discrimination. Hollywood producers have already scrambled and are making numerous error comedies about the subject.

Okay, a notice to you all:
I said this game will be less clear-cut when it comes to motives and win conditions, and I meant just that. I'm tired of sending smart-ass comments when asked "what is my win condition" or "whose side am I on". What you do, you see who you are, if you don't know that particular role you google it up to learn about it, then decide how that person would act when sucked through a dimensional vortex with 29 other people. If you think he's try to kill everyone, go for killing everyone. If you think he'll try to end the game with a prime number of players, go for that. Whatever makes sense to you, try and make it happen.

Man found dead from causes unknown

Police are baffled by an unexplained death. Scalebane, known to his friends as Sherlock Holmes, was found dead in his apartment today. The coroner was unable to determine cause of death or narrow down the time of death. Reports from the scene state that the apartment was not broken into, and other than Scalebane's horribly contorted face, he seemed completely normal, apart from the fact he wasn't breathing. The police informed us they are "looking into several leads"

Woman spots a three-headed alien

A woman who wished to remain anonymous reported being attacked by a three-headed alien last night. "I heard this weird noise outside, and when I went out, there he was. He said he needs to take me to his planet beacuse the females of his race are dying from a strange disease".

Vortex still at large in the middle of the city

The vortex that opened last night is still alive and well. NASA says scientists are working around the clock on figuring out what it is and what it does, with no success so far. No more eruptions have been reported from the vortex, but this reporter, for one, is worried.
