So, in response to timing being a mess for some peoples, I've added an idea that I think should make this a little easier:

You may choose ONE partner to join your team. Only one player may compete in each leg. This allows scheduling to be much easier, as the odds that one player will be available for the leg.

Players that have /outed due to this may now rejoin as part of a team, and current players may add teammates before tomorrow's start!

For example, if I can not make it tomorrow, I can find a partner, who can run it for me. Me and my partner may then decide who runs each leg. This is for people who have time issues.

I mean that you, as a current Racer, may add mith, who is currently not playing, to your team.

This will be dependent on mith's confirmation of same of course.

Also, for those considering adding a teammate, I'd recommend adding someone from a different timezone.
