Amazing mechanic of sanity levels, and it honestly blew me away upon a quick skim, didn't seem unbalanced to me at all.

Just check out the second post in the game (#1).

I think that it's not just good flavor text that the game deserves a nomination for. Very interesting mechanics in this game.

I helped design the game, so I agree it was good. But you need to be more specific so people can comment on it

Oh. That's what you're driving at. I was hoping someone who played the game could do that, but I put a reminder on my calendar to do this in a week if no one else does.

Nominate the Bremburg Scumteam of Imperial Intrigue (Nero Cain, Magua, manho, and technically StrangerCoug) for Best Performance in a Losing Cause

Played a very good game throughout and actually made it to endgame but did not win because of a technicality involving a slightly bastard Third Party role.

I'd have to disagree with that, because they basically DID win. You even said that you didn't mind if they counted it as a win. If you lose due to a bastard technicality with no bastard warning, plus mod says you basically won, it's pretty much a win.
