PEdit: well, you did a great job of staying alive throughout... but while inspi was a Cult Leader and Chesskid was a Serial Killer, you were more of a Survivor.

I DID spearhead the GU. And early game was fought with everyone hatin on me. I survived.

It had just started. We were getting everything ready. Had I been able to GET THIS STARTED EARLIER (HINT HINT IZAK) It wouldn't have been so easy.

Great game everybody, sad to see it finish.
It was a real honour to play through it... even if I did kinda die twice, it just goes to show that persistence is futile.
I must congratulate Inspi on his amazing political strategems, and I guess Chess on his military might; I've learnt a lot about this game from you two, and I hopefully will be a much better player in the sequel.
It says something really about both the playerbase and the mod that this game lasted as long as it did. Without doing much research, this is certainly one of the longest, if not THE longest, "involved" MM game on the site, and I think we all owe that to the huge effort by Izak to create this and keep it running though a huge host of difficulties.
Our two co-mods dropped out, and theamatuer did valiantly to keep the finances going smoothly at last!
Overall, I enjoyed this game immensely, and will very much miss it.

I think I speak for everyone when I say just how awesome you were Izak. Thank you so much for creating this, for modding this, for being so dedicated and hard working, and for keeping us going for as long as you did. We couldn't have made this without you.

So yeah. <3.

I definitely don't approve of auto-losses. I'm still not happy with how it happened since I was spending just as much money to undermine foreign influences.

On the other hand, that was the entire purpose, I spent about 1-9B (For those that had access to my 'real' budget spending, it was consistently 2/3rd of the official espionage expenditure), growing with my income, a turn since the start of the game to do that to you. I calculated it a few months back and it was already >200B + years of in game time on that single project, just to kill you. I also wouldn't have been able to pull it off like that without already having been in control of your country before.

Chesstopia would have been in serious trouble, and a bunch of people would have died, but it would probably have survived. I would have advised theamatuer to drop Chesstopia's money down to almost nothing for a while, and to give everyone else a bit of a dip.

Yeah. Inspi could have had everyone killed off by saying "execute order 66".

And I wanted this to continue. I really did. But when there's no commitment or enthusiasm from myself, my co-mod, and the majority of the players, carrying on would have been stupid. (I don't blame any of you, this has probably been waaaaaay too dragged out)
