Mini 173: Space Transport Mafia - Game Ovah!

The Space Station: grand proof of mankind's achievement in the two hundred years since the millenium. Orbiting barely inward of Jupiter, it has grown from a tiny research station to a bustling community with tons upon tons of tourist traps. Transport shuttles leave the inhabited worlds (Earth, Luna, Mars, Europa) to take people to the Space Station on a regular basis.

The twelve of you are aboard one such shuttle. It left Earth just a few days ago; there is a considerable amount of transit time remaining. The game begins with a horrible discovery: the pilot has been shot! Before he died, he managed to lurch to his computer console and open a mail message from the director of Space Station Security.

"BE ALERT! We have reason to believe that agents of the terrorist group Free Mars have acquired transport passes to the Space Station and are riding aboard your ship. If you see anything suspicious, send a message to Station Control and let them know; your ship may need to be diverted. It's no secret that the Station is not very resilient against sabotage."

You are all shocked. (Well, most of you are, anyway.) Free Mars terrorists aboard the ship?!? You try to send an SOS to someone, anyone, only to find that the long range comm system has been locked down, along with most of the other controls. With no way to get help, and no way out, you go to sleep, hoping that things will look better in the morning, and knowing they won't.

RULES POST

Rule 1: This is a normal mini, and as such, most normal rules apply. Unless I specifically state a normal rule does not apply, it does. Thus, if I accidentally forget to put a rule in this post, that doesn't mean you get to break it.

Rule 2: Barring a role which lets you talk at night, if your eyes are shut, your mouths are shut. Similarly, all talking during the day must take place in the thread, unless a role specifically counteracts this.

Rule 3: If you do not bold a vote, it does not count. If you do not bold an unvote, it does not count. If you do not unvote before you vote again, it does not count. If you do not tell me whom you're unvoting when you're unvoting, I might get confused and sad and make a votecount that's slightly less than perfect.

Rule 4: Don't quote any PMs from me. Paraphrasing is fine, and it shouldn't be a big deal, but copying and pasting from your inbox will get you modkilled.

Rule 5: Dead people don't talk. Not even to say "bah". If you say things while dead, I will become sad.

Rule 6: Do not edit your posts, do not delete your posts. This will earn you a modkill, and, even worse, make me mildly peeved.

Rule 7: I really don't want this game to stall, that's not fun for anybody. Post frequently, or risk being prodded/replaced. On a similar note, if you aren't getting anywhere, expect a deadline.

Rule 8: This is, above all, a game. Remember the three pillars of mafia: lynch scum, kill power, have fun. The last one is by far the most importatnt.

Day breaks... and your worst fears are confirmed. KingPin lies dead in his bunk, with several holes blasted in his torso. Clearly, the Free Mars terrorists on board will not stop until they have commandeered this vessel.

A search through KingPin's personal effects reveals a large number of graphics files stored on his datapad, signed with the initials "K.P.". Clearly, he was a simple artist, who never meant any harm to anyone.

KingPin (townie) is dead. With 11 alive it's 6 to lynch.
