  • What did you do during this task?
  • Are you satisfied with your team's final submission? Is there anything you think could have been improved or that you would have changed?
  • How do you think Leonshade performed as Project Manager?
  • Who on your team are the weak links, and why?

Misc. Question
For Anyone

  • What are your thoughts on how the Project Managers handled the negotiation over a time extension? Did you think your team could have benefited from more time? Do you think either PM made a mistake in his negotiations?

[1] I was a critic. Basically commented on rough drafts and stuff.

[2a] I'm completely satisfied with what we put together as a team.
[2b] Not really.

[3] He performed admirably. He did a good job under time pressure.

[4] kiwieagle. He only contributed
1
post between the start of the task, and our submission. If we lose, it's mostly his fault for contributing diddly SQUAT!

[$] We probably could have done more contributing if we had an extra 24 hours to work with.

1.lol and you did so much right? (4 posts which all you did was agree with someone or say WOW THATS COOL)
2.You seem to fight with people alot

(this is my reasons)

I think both submissions suck.

Results & critiques will be posted in a moment.

Feel free to continue to argue about the banner.

I'm curious to see how much better you'd fare.

Task #2 Reviews

Let's review the submissions and then I'll reveal the team that is safe. The losing team's Project Manager will be required to select two other contestants to join him in the Board Room.

TEAM EUCLEIA

Let's start with the banner assignment,
Assignment #4
. While I really like the idea and the commitment and work it took to develop this image, I have trouble noticing that the image is a ferris wheel that is in the eyeball. If anyone was to just see the image without any context. I also think the image size is too large and would have been more appropriate if it was smaller. Overall, I like the concept and final product. I also am unsure of what to think of the lack of text in the image... Then again, no text is better than hideous text.

Concerning
Assignment #3
, I think it was a terrible decision to use text that not everyone, including myself, may have access to. I also find the lyrics and youtube video a distraction. The post is rather lengthy for a simple Ferris Wheel Game. 'I wouldn't really read the first one. It's trying to explain the game mechanics in the flavour, and I'm not a fan of that. When I want to see if a game is worth signing up for, I want the description to be straight-forward, y'know?'

TEAM EXCEL

Let's start with the image in
Assignment #4
. I actually am fond of the black & white with a hint of red image of an old ferris wheel. However, the text selection was simply hideous, I wanted to gauge my eyeballs out. My mystery judge in-fact stabbed his eyes out upon sighting the text.

Concerning
Assignment #3
, the clash of colors makes me want to barf. A rainbow-colored title, a creepy ferris wheel, more randomly-colored text... Do you care to explain the randomly colored '200'?

We randomly colored 200 because you randomly threw that line in there.

Task #2 Results

Overall I think both teams could have taken advantage of the deadline extension and reviewed their final submissions with their whole team.

Believe it or not, the winning team is...

...

...

...

...

Team Eucleia
. Your entire team is safe, for now. Don't get too cocky though, as the points were closer this time around. This was, however, an aesthetics contest. And your submission was indeed more aesthetically pleasing. But keep in mind that sometimes a lengthy post can detract from the overall purpose.

Leonshade
, as Project Manager of the losing team you must select two individuals to join you in the boardroom. The three of you will be questioned by me and one of you will be fired.

Cybele
- I would contemplate listening to your team more closey. The fact that your team did not see the final product before it was submitted raises a flag for me about your teamwork capabilities. There are eight people on your team. I think simply erasing your other teammate's work shows me you think they are useless. I actually liked Mist7676's idea of highlighting particular words. I will also reveal that Papyrus is an old favorite of mine. Although I think it would have gone better with the opposing team's 'Creepy' theme. Another thing to keep in mind... if only you and one other person work on the task because you choose to dismiss the others' work, who do you think will be held accountable if your team loses?

One last question for
Team Excel
- who all saw the final product before the submission? Did nobody comment on the rainbow text/creepy banner contrast?

Also, I will be nice and reveal the next task involves
Creativity

The version that was submitted was sent to everyone on my team (except inactives), earlier in the day. There are not eight people on my team; there are seven, and a placeholder. All work provided by other players, barring the Papyrus suggestion was either placed into the QT for consideration, or encouraged to be sent around by PM for discussion. The idea for highlighting words was mine, as can be seen in the QT. It was an idea I later rejected, and explained why in the QT. Papyrus is a terrible font, and fits neither team's entry, thematically. Everyone who was active worked on the task, and I appreciate their efforts, even if not everything they contributed was used.

Correction, a good apprentice already knows and helps in the cover-up. In fact, a good apprentice already knows what will be covered-up before a covering-up takes place.

After much contemplation uninterrupted by cover-ups, I've decided to make
Chevre
and
Twistedspoon
my War Room picks. Both Chevre and Twistedspoon failed to contribute to the assignment in any meaningful way. Chevre posted once to say that she would take a shot at both assignments (and posted nothing after that), while Spoon failed to post anything at all (and he was no on V/LA either). kiwieagle was largely the same as Chevre, but kiwi has since appeared in this thread and in the QT and has at least given an explanation for his absence, giving me hope that he will contribute in future tasks.
