Why am I a COPPA user? What's the age cap for this?

You are a COPPA user because you indicated that you were born after March 24, 1998, when you first registered. The age cap is 13.

I was born in 97. My profile even says I'm 14.
And don't people under 13 need to send in a fax or something? I never had to do that...

You were asked when you registered whether you were born before or after such-and-such a date. You probably hit the wrong one.

COPPA users have the same rights in general. I'm not sure if F62 is supposed to be closed to them or not, that's up to mith.

Yes, it's a legal requirement for sites that operate in the U.S.

You'll probably have to send him some sort of proof that you're not actually under the age limits - ping him by PM or email.

Oh this site runs on IPB3, with the user-joinable usergroups rather than having to get admin-sorted into them.
