Open 330: Masons and Mafia (Game Over, Scum Win)

Welcome to Open 330: Masons and Mafia! This is a Nightless 12-player game that features a special killing mechanic. There are
four mafia
,
four masons
, and
four vanilla townies
. Instead of nightkills, each mafia member may individually send in a private daykill. If the target is a mason, they die, but if the target is a VT, the mafioso dies instead. Both mafia and masons have daytalk (Obvious, since this is nightless, but it needs to be said anyway).

The far-off land of Ruritania was quite a nice place to escape the hustle and bustle of modern civilization. The air was clean, the food was fresh, the winters were mild, and the sun was warm but not scorching hot. Everything seemed perfect; too perfect. Every couple of decades, for a reason no one has yet discovered, some of the townsfolk become possessed by this otherworldly drive to kill everyone else off in the region. Just like with your forefathers before you, the strange possessions are happening yet again, and it's now up to you to stop it. Drive back this corrupting influence, heroes of light; otherwise, Ruritania will fall, and an eternal darkness shall spread across the land.

The Rules


  1. Obey all site rules
  2. Vote in
    bold
    . Unvotes are nice but not necessary.
  3. Bolded Blue
    is my colour. Don't use it.
    Dark Red
    is Flavour. Don't use that, either. Any other colours are fair game.
  4. Don't do stupid things like quote role PMs, link to QTs, post after you're dead, edit/delete posts, use cryptography, or any other underhanded and dirty tactics. If it doesn't seem legit, it probably isn't.
  5. Days will last for two weeks, or until a lynch is secured.
  6. Once a person receives the majority of the votes their lynch is sealed, and votes will no longer be counted after that point. Everyone may still continue talking until I post the death scene.
  7. Do a Bah post if you must, but keep it short and fluffy; nothing game-related.
  8. If there's an error, particularly with the vote counts, please point it out and
    bold
    it so I can see it and fix it.
  9. I don't give a fuck what kind of language you use, just don't go swearing
    at
    someone if you can help it.
  10. Once you have received your role PM, please /confirm in-thread.

I was thinking about that since the game is nightless it really could be a waiting game until scum get antsy wouldn't that make the pool larger and harder for them to shoot from?

Yeah this setup is very odd.

We could just never lynch? There's no nights so are there any deadlines?

Well I think I was more relying on scum being antsy and Dram was simply asking IF we have any reason to want a lynch...
