Setup: "Lovers Mafia"

• There are six players total.

• This game is nightless.

Two Mafia-aligned players receive:

Mafia Lover:

You are a member of the Mafia along with your Lover, <name>. Your current task is to eliminate the town before they lynch you or your lover by getting townies lynched during the day.

• At any time, you may talk with your Mafia Lover in your quicktopic thread <<here>>.
  
• You win when the number of Mafia equals or exceeds the number of remaining Town players.
  
• If you or your partner is lynched, the other will immediately commit suicide and you will both lose the game.

Four Town-aligned players receive:

Vanilla Townie:

You are a normal townsperson (or townie), trying to eliminate the Mafia Lovers from society.

• At no time may you privately communicate with any other player.
  
• You win when all the Mafia players are gone, whether you survive to the end or not.
  
• If one Mafia Lover is lynched, the other will commit suicide and the town will win.

Gameplay

1. You may not quote private Moderator-supplied information (either real or fabricated) of any kind. Paraphrasing (for role claims, etc.) is acceptable.
   
2. There is to be NO personal communication outside of the forum postings unless your role PM specifically allows it. Mafia members may communicate privately amongst themselves at any time.
   
3. A simple majority of all living players must agree on one person for a lynch to occur.
   
4. Once you have reached a simple majority no further unvoting will change someone’s fate.
   
5. Once a player is lynched the game enters twilight until I post a death scene; all players including the one who was lynched may continue to post during twilight.
   
6. Once your death scene has been posted you may no longer post. This means that you do not even get a “Bah” post.
   
7. Please submit votes as:
   Vote: Scumbag
   . Votes will NOT be counted if they are not bold. Obvious abbreviations or nicknames will be counted so long as they are unambiguous.
   
8. Please submit vote revocations as either

   or
   Unvote
   . Unvotes are not necessary before changing votes, but they are appreciated.
   
9. You may not vote for no lynch.
   
10. This game will have 3-week deadlines. At deadline, the player with the most votes will be lynched. If the votes are tied, whoever received their final vote first will be lynched.

Activity and Etiquette

1. As a general rule you should aim for one post every 48 hours, minimum, to keep the game moving.
   
2. Prods of missing players will be issued automatically after 72 hours of no activity or upon request after 48 hours of no activity. A prodded player has 48 hours to respond or risks replacement. A player who has been prodded 3 times is subject to replacement without further notice.
   
3. If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 48-hour period please post a notice to that effect in the thread. Treat this game as a commitment. Be considerate — don’t leave us hanging.
   
4. Please remember that this is a game and your main objective is to have fun! Be considerate of each other, don’t get personal, and enjoy the game.

1. Green
   text is reserved for the Moderator. No invisible text is allowed. Small text is allowed so long as its presence is obvious.
   
2. If you have an issue/problem with the game, please PM the Moderator privately. Do not post issues/complaints in the game thread.
   
3. The Moderator may make mistakes — please point out any mistakes gently. Mistakes will be corrected where possible, but sometimes mistakes are made that cannot be reversed. These will stand as final to be commiserated over after the game.
   
4. Please bold all requests to the Moderator so that they don’t get missed.
   
5. Rules violations will be dealt with according to their severity, up to and including a Modkill.
   
6. The Moderator will post a vote count at least once every 24 hours. In times of high activity this may be increased. Please bold any requests for additional vote counts.

Linked-Operation Vessels for the Elimination of Regular Society

Like humans in every discernible way, the L.O.V.E.R.S. are a deadly force from an unknown origin whose sole mission is to integrate with regular human society and eliminate it from the inside out. To more safely achieve their goals, they were dispatched in pairs, using linked processors that provide them superhuman perception, constant communication, and, unfortunately for them, a complete reliance on each other. If one vessel is destroyed, the other can no longer function.

The L.O.V.E.R.S. are programmed to kill only once every two hours. And their first target has already been dealt with.

Oh no! They got Jean! Whoever that is!

Don't let the L.O.V.E.R.S. strike again! Find and kill them before the night is over!

Hour 1

The first deadline (in real time) is November 3 at 10 a.m. ET. With six alive, it's four to lynch.

Pink, I just think your opening gameplay is pretty town. I don't think scum would abrasive with RVS and stick to their guns in that way in a game of this size and type. Emp and I have played these three times in a row and that hasn't happened once, IIRC.
