SOLVED: Spacing in [code] tags

If you have a single space at the beginning of a line in a code tag, it strips it out.
Example: The following should be a center-aligned reverse triangle:

Code: Select all

XXXXXXX
 XXXXX
  XXX
   X

The problem is that it the "CODE" tag eliminates bbcode. I would have suggested using the "tab" tags, but the "code" tag disables it. The only way that you can create a space is by adding something and then a space example:

Code: Select all

. xxxxxxx
 xxxxx <- no period used
. xxxxx

That's the only way I can think that will change it. Even without the code box it shifts the text to the left side if you don't have anything before the space, like this:
this was typed without putting anything before spaces
Other than that I can't help you.
after a wank.

There is probably a reason for this. I will see tomorrow.
