OK, Bene Gesserit, I have been put in a spot as
moderator of Dune.

The post CrystyB made during the night is against the
rules. He confirms Jesternl's story at a point in time
when he was not supposed to do that (night). The
Harkonnens would have obviously targeted CrystyB this
night and Jesternl would have an unconfirmed role, and
difficulty to avoind lynching the next day.

I cannot just let this pass, as it gives the town an
unfair advantage.

What I am currently planning to do is kill off CrystyB
(in this game) and

let

the Harkonnens choose another
target. That may be a bit overcompensating, but I'd
rather overcompensate than do nothing at all.Heck, you
could even argue that a logical sequence would have
been [1] Harkonnens kill CrystyB; [2] Town lynches
unconfirmed Jesternl; [3] Harkonnens kill X - in which
case they are still short of a kill in my proposal.

However, I am giving the three of you a chance to come
up with a counterproposal, before the deadline.

So, DP, by letting you meant demanding, after you have given them full details of what will happen to me... ((i always wondered why they killed Jester in the first place - now i see their target was changed by you.))

Congrats to IS and Sooth :) And of course to DP for running this...

Crysty and I thought of the weird fake Bene Gesserit roleduring Night 2, after Feyd-Rauth had died. We all (naively assuming we weren;t going to be killed by any "Fremen") decided that the best way to protect Paul was to claim ludicrously powerful roles and make the Harkonnens kill us instead of him (buying us three more rounds, four if we could somehow convince them that Jessica was in on this as well).

We decided we'd become a cult, since that fit in with the Missionaria Protectiva department of the Bene Gesserit. Then we added protection abilities, so we could claim that "nobody could kill Paul while any Bene Gesserit was still alive", and then I added the investigation bit when I came forward for the reasons above.

And then... everyone died. The end. :(

Was it even possible for IS to kill mudster at night? MUdster had the last killing role so IS would need to impersonate mudster in order to kill mudster, but if mudster dies then IS dies instead (which isn't what was intended by that rule I'm sure, but is how it is written). Did I make sense?

Can we name the Quercitron Gambit after any Mafia stunt that would work if there weren't rules we didn't know about? I was so hoping for everyone dead--and the way IS targeted, it would have been everyone except mudster (Beast Rabban.)

But yeah - wow. Kudos to DP for the best way of using Tleilaxu ever.

IS could have impersonated and killed Mudster - he asked early on whether that was possible (see one of his first kills) and I said it was.
