Mini Game 19

With a number of the smaller mafia organizations and families now running from the law, the once quaint and peaceful town of Taurianova, your home, has let them slip into the population undetected, looking for a quiet place to hide. For a while nothing happened, life was traveling along as it always had. But lately there have been a number of murders turning up all over the place. So many, in fact, that the population has dwindled all the way down to 13 (including me, the Mayor). As the killings are still taking place around the town, there must be at least one mafia in your midst. As a final straw the Mayor calls a town meeting to make an announcement.

“People, we must decide on what we will do about this mafia crisis, we cannot continue living this way, under their thumbs.”

“I say we all leave, and let the mafia have this town,”

someone yells from the back.

“No, I’ve lived here for near on 35 years, I ain’t moving on account of some silly little mafia hoohaa. I say we stay and fight!”

another person responds.

All the townspeople start to get anxious and excited, almost as though they are preparing for war. They all come to an agreement with the last statement and everyone is prepared to defend the town, at any cost.

“People, people, calm down,”

the mayor bangs his gavel on the podium.

“Very well, after careful deliberation, I have decided on what we will do. Each day hereafter we will come together here in this very town hall and vote for someone to lynch. And they will be lynched and hung from that very tree!”

the Mayor points to a tree just outside the window.

There is an uncomfortable commotion from the townspeople, as they head out the door towards the setting sun, not knowing for sure what awaits them during the night…

Deadlines will be set during the game if I feel it is starting to lag at any point in time.
No Lynch can be reached either by a tied vote at the end of a deadline, or at the town's request.

No need to worry, the game will still carry on as normal, I still intend on giving it my full attention, I'm just going to be a little busy this weekend, and want to get the game started asap.

As the townspeople awaken in the morning they slowly go about their regular morning duties before nervously making their way towards the town hall, unsure of what the night's proceeding have brought them. One by one they slowly begin to arrive.
After a short amount of time has passed the mayor notices that there is one chair still empty. A low murmur is heard as everyone fears the worse. Hitman has not arrived yet.
The town make their way to Hitman's house, only to find the door slightly ajar. They all enter the now quiet house and start searching for Hitman. Unfortunately there is no sign of him anywhere.

"I found something"

someone calls from the hallway.

There are a few spots of blood left on the carpet, but otherwise there is no sign of him anyway.
In fact, nothing appears to be out of the ordinary, except that there is a small knapsack lying on the living room floor. Someone picks it up to see that there is a red cross on the front of it.

The town make their way back to the town hall to sadly attend the days proceedings of lynching someone. Come all and vote.

Side note: I am moving house today IRL and will more than likely not be able to come back on the internet until early next week (only a few days). If a majority is reached then assume the game turns to night and carry on as normal. Otherwise you'll hear from me soon.
