Nominate Zorblag for Best Replacement

I know he usually just replaces into Newbie games but I think that this one is befitting.

Zorblag always enters the game with a positive attitude. Regardless of his situation. He always reads up on the game in a fast manner and gets his reads out. He always gives 110% in his cases and in his catchups.

Not to mention how he is just a good player in general.

You probably want links and there is a lot of them (Just look at his topics and you'll find Newbie games with him replaced in.

Here is one from a game I was modding. He replaced scum in a 3 man LyLo. Had a very minute chance of winning, still played it out to the end. Almost turned it around but his predecessor was just in too deep.

I really think he deserves this nom just because of his efforts he puts forth every single time without fail. He sees Newbie Mods in need and he helps out. That kind of commitment he puts into games is just the sign of a good replacement. He can always be counted on, and as I said before, hes there with a positive attitude regardless of situation.

Gunsmiths are a viable replacement for cops so that one cannot instantly confirm anybody to be scum.

The werewolves was just a bit of mod deception. Not really trolling.

Judging by your description of the scumteam I do not feel the town should get the award.

I've personally seen Thor decimate scum only wielding a beard and rapier wit. But Nacho is quite the boss as well.

Honestly, they both deserve the title, and I think they don't need a little picture below their name to remember how good they are.

An incredible job modding. And though the players gameplay was lacking, AV clearly was an amazing mod. I would nominate him for the flavor, but I think that it really describes his modding. He had flavor for every little thing, and it was enjoyable to just go into thread and read his posts. But his overall moderating was perfect, and I feel he very much deserves this award. Up to the judges though.

Nominate the town of "The Detectives" for best town performance

In a game with 4 mafia, the town won with 4 lynches.

That's pretty obscene. Was there a mod error that affected the game? Yes. But it wasn't as drastic as confirming town or something (the mod didn't see the changed night kill, so the scum night killed the "wrong person" with their first kill).

The mod error makes the entire thing shaky.

The town obviously destroyed the scumteam however. No offense to the scumteam, but we just railroaded them.

Four lynches in a row. Four scum. More red than green in the dead players list and thy had a Night 0 kill.

To explain about the Mod error,

The scumteam's Night One action was not meant to be on CDB. They originally sent in CDB as the kill but later changed it. (From what I read it was hard to read, Mod simply hadn't seen it, registered it, or something like that. Not really anyone's fault, just an accident.) The scumteam changed the shot to MoI.

The problem came from the fact that MoI's action was critically involved in the confirming of Nuwen being scum. However, he was not the only necessary link to that lynch. Whether or not she would have been lynched without him is impossible to say.

However, we did Lynch the other three scum without any solid confirmation. Nuwen being the only one and it was still possible for her to not be scum.

I figured that people would like to know the story behind the Mod error if they were curious but not curious enough to read the thread.

Up to the judges now.

Even if it isn't Best Town Performance, it still remains high on my trophy wall. Great great game.

But it was well coordinated, and it was well cooperated. Well thought out and well executed.

But yes, the Mod error was pretty big. But its not like they expected it to happen that way, its not like they knew he would have confirmed nuwen. The fact that the mod screwed up doesn't really change how awesome we played.

All in all, I don't really feel the need to argue any further, up to the judges.

I do want to play more games with you, Medhi, I had crap tons of fun.

. Just read it. It doesn't really resemble Mafia all that much, but it is a hilarious read.

Perhaps "Funniest Game" would be a better category, if it existed.
