from my experience and what i've heard from others the speed is medium. lots of good slower cards like kicker things and wingmantle chaplain

I don't think the wall deck is the best example of the format allowing you to devalue tempo since it plays a 1 mana creature that blocks 2s and a two mana creature that trades with 3s.

I do think it's a slower format with people sometimes trying to be slightly bigger than eachother though.

There's a weird giant growth burn deck i've seen screenshots of that plays all 1 drops and green combat tricks and just tries to convert combat tricks to lava spikes, that looks pretty fast but i've never seen it in queue.
Against white based aggro i get overwhelmed a lot but if I draft and play slightly differently i'm getting the hang of winning against it with a slower strategy.

ok but if you play against it you can afford to be slower

I haven't played that much more since my last post, and I'm only diamond, but I still find myself getting 7 wins when playing aggressive decks that can go late with kicker when pressed to, and like 3 wins when playing decks that can only play slow.

I am working running a dragon themed Commander Deck with Kyodai as it's commander that runs all five of the other Kamigawa dragons

I also have one with Jodah the Unifier as my commander, all about legendary creatures.

As for other play, I have lots of decks, but my favorite to play is a deck I built around the theme of Persona 5. Ninjas, Devils, Rogues, and Demons. Tibalt, Cosmic Imposter as a planeswalker.
