NY 154: Return to Boring Town - Game Over

A long, long time ago (roughly five years), boring town was besieged by some less than popular fellows. Three of them, if one wants to get particular. Six innocent populants of the town fell victim to their crime spree, before finally the town found those responsible and made them pay. And the town rebuilt and grew, to a nice, friendly, loving community.

And all was peaceful. Until recently, when some noticed a dark cloud moving in, one that could not be certain of wrongdoing, but it just never feels right. One bad feeling that led to paranoia, sadness, a vast multitude of feelings in every occupant. And rumors were abound. Those few who survived the massacre from five years ago noted that the mindset is quite similar to that of before.

Last night, three gunshots went off in the wee hours of the morning. It was obvious what had occured. As the relatives of the victims had gone on for peaceful lives, those of the deceased wanted revenge. Their plan? Start by taking the town hostage.

1. I am the mod. I have the final say.
2. Do not use

the color red.

This color is reserved for the mod.
3. Please bold or use VOTE: vote tags for your votes. Votes will not be counted without one of these two. Additionally, placing the votes at the beginning of a line will help the mod not miss votes.
4. Do not quote any PMs from the mod. Offenses will have an automatic modkill.
5. Do not edit or delete any posts. This is also a modkill for an offense.
6. Once you are dead, you are dead. You may no longer post.
7. Once the majority to lynch has been reached, the day will end automatically. Even if the player is unvoted in the same post, as soon as that vote is placed, that player is lynched. Posting may continue until the moderator can lock the thread and officialize the lynch.
8. Players may Vote for a VOTE: No Lynch if they wish. If a majority(the same for a lynch) is reached for No Lynch, the Day will end with no one being lynched.
9. Players who go longer than 72 hours without posting without prior notice to the mod will be prodded. If a player does not respond to their prod within an additional 48 hours, they will be replaced. Players may request a prod on another player if that player has not posted within 48 hours, and they will be prodded at the first available time for the mod.
10. Days will last for 21 days (3 weeks), or until a majority lynch has been obtained. Extensions may be granted due to replacements. If at the end of the day no majority vote is reached, no lynch will occur, and the game will proceed to night.
11. Nights will last 72 hours, or until all players PM me saying they are okay with night ending early. Extensions may be held due to replacements or other circumstances outside of my control.
12. No cryptography is allowed within this game. This consists of any code that is not english and/or requires any type of outside assistance to interpret the message. This also applies to size 0 text. All posts must be in VISIBLE ENGLISH.
12. The rules are subject to change as the moderator's discretion. Changes will be posted in the thread.
13. This is just a game. Personal attacks will NOT BE TOLERATED. Have fun.
