I hate this game.

Glork - Not scum for massclaim; singer replaced in, yes, but she would have not messed it up so badly if Glork had mentioned it in the QT. Admittedly, I have just pulled a fake dumb-scum move in Open 453, got lynched by it, and made Townies look terrible and helped my scumbuddy win in the process. I don't think that's what singer was doing, though.
Rhinox - His claim makes sense; Rhinox isn't a high-priority kill in this setup, so it makes little sense that scum Rhinox would resort to a claim like that, especially since it's a non-Normal role.
Knight of Cydonia - Scum Gunsmith? Possible. is bad; he's wording it as if scum don't ever bus, and trying to discredit Izzy for her vote.
redFF - The popcorning order is a very good thing in his favor.
Cogito Ergo Sum - I had a Townread on JD for giving a damn, but I really can't read CES.

I want to reread D1 and D2 before voting.

In post 1354, Quagmire wrote:I mean, when I flip pro-town gunsmith, you'll all look pretty foolish, and then someone will posit that KoC is the scum one, and people will try to lynch him, and he won't object because he's busy too, and the town will lose. The more I see this shitty case develop, the more I think it's Glork, with a last-ditch effort to try to mislynch and interrupt the game.

Gee, how unsurprising.

I refuse to believe that KoC is scum.
I refuse to believe that redFF is scum.
I refuse to believe that Tierce is scum.
I'm not scum.

...so that leaves Rhinox and CES as potential/likely candidates. JD "gave a damn," but as I alluded to several days ago, his "giving a damn" seemed to replace contribution/scum hunting for large periods of time. Rhinox I still kind of flip flop on, but if there are indeed two scums left, he's the other candidate.

I'll go read D1 and D2 (what little of it there was) and see if I can determine anything for sure.

CES is doing precisely what town-Quag said would happen when he flipped. At this point he's either scum taking refuge in audacity, or a fucking idiot - and CES is not an idiot.
Only issue I have is that Rhinox/RedFF clusterfuck going on either side of my name - something about that whole MAD seems off to me.

No.

It literally means nothing that town-Quag said what he said, KoC. He's not an Oracle of Delphi; he didn't know anything more about the set-up than what he did and he was always going to be biased in favour of the claimed gunsmiths.

You should be able to see this dumb posturing for what it is, Glrok. No way final scum is vanilla, so yeah, KoC might be a gunsmith, but that means nothing.

If the game has two gunsmiths it seems natural to me for the mafia to have an anti gunsmith role, so i don't see tierce's innocence.

Red, how many scums do you think are left?

Also, a detailed summary of why everyone thinks so-and-so is scum would be helpful. I've also been meaning to get a re-read done, and have generally failed miserably.

Also, I am open to reconsidering the Tierce case. I could actually see JD/Tierce as a rristic possibility, pending checking back on something from D1/D2.

No.
More.
Fucking.
Excuses.

If I don't see tangible effort in 48 hours, I'm voting Tierce, gunsmith be damned.

CES, how fantastically lucky is it that KoC's predecessor fake-claimed 1-shot Gunsmith during the D1 mass claim before a now-deceased protown 1-shot gunsmith?

Why exactly do you think KoC is scum? What do you think motivated bv310 to claim 1-shot Gunsmith during the D1 massclaim?

I still don't see why the popcorn thing is in redff's favor. He was clearly bussing nham, and the popcorn is consistent with bussing. He picked nham (and me) because we were "the worst votes on the umoms wagon".

But redff was also on the umoms wagons and claimed to have reasons. see redff iso #1 through #7. Then it became no longer cool to be on the umoms wagon and redff pulled a 180 starting with iso #8. Iama was questioning redff about it up through red iso #18 at least. Then in iso #19 red popcorned to nham. IMO it was all part of the damage control to get iama off his back and look town after nham flipped.

Then the day dragged on and the pressure eased off of red so he thought he could try not bussing by voting me in iso #22.

Other points such as agar first started the whole "rhinox and nham need to die" that redff only started sheeping after it became the cool thing to do, but redff also says agar was a scum read and regretted not popcorning to him instead of nham, and he also voted agar at the start of both day 2, and day 3 when it was pretty clear agar's role was confirmed. It all shows redff is not putting a lot of critical thought into his votes/reads.

If another scum, deciding between glork, KOC, tierce. Tierce may not make sense with redffscum, but could be something like a mafia doctor with 3 goon flips and a vig in the game. Earlier I thought tierce was the scummiest but pretty much got shot down. Glork hasn't been very glork-like most of the game, but I have no idea if he's scum. bv/KOC I also have no idea read-wise. He's almost certainly a gunsmith per glorks recent argument. He could be a mafia gunsmith though.

I really don't see any scenario where I would vote for CES. Jdodge was almost certainly town and that doesn't just go away with a replacement.

Mafia Gunsmith. Really.

As for why he's scum, it's mostly PoE which isn't that weird considering we've basically everyone who was genuinely suspicious + Appeal to TownQuag

It's not really the popcorning to nhammen. It's starting the mass claim AND popcorning to a buddy on your own initiative.
