It's a weird flavor thing. My gun was one-shot, and I acquired it on night 1. Mafia kills are common to mafia members, and generally the decision is made as a group and executed by one member. Hitmen and people who would have one-shot abilities get those separately from the kill. Even if I was mafia there should have been two kills, since my kill would have been independent from the factional kill.

look, the only possible explanation in your favor is that what you said that happened happened, AND the mafia shot DJD too. since AV and sham are town, that must mean that mafia is just one guy solito, theamateur. of course this is from my POV. so you die now and theam tomorrow, case closed.

Because I wasn't sure that he was making a real claim. I did have a gun when he looked at me, so there was a good chance that he was claiming honestly. When he specified that it was one shot I felt like it would be more helpful to the town to share that information.

i've been running through the scenario in my head in which both you and av are town and i'm just not seeing it. our massclaim demonstrates that there are no blocking or protecting roles in this game. so if you are town, that means the scum either have no nightkill at all (?) or chose not to use it (?????)

it seems vastly more likely to me that scum each have one bullet or something like that, and this just a bunch of crap you're trying to spin

this is enhanced by the fact that from hypothetical zabriel-town perspective, the scum team has basically been narrowed down to shos+theam (assuming my claim is believed) and he ought to be voting one of them or at least trying to discern their alignments. but he isn't showing any interest in actually trying to win this game for town.

nothing about zabriel-town makes sense to me.

Well, it's not quite that simple Shamrock. Say I'm right that scum doesn't have a night kill. That means the lynch still matters and the scum needs to not look scummy so he doesn't get eaten alive tomorrow.

Basically I'm trying to decide what I think about you Sham. Self-watcher is one of those too lame to fake abilities that are just really attractive for scum to fake.

Now you're bring stupid. as Sham said, if you are town, then if sham was scum he would hammer you and win, which hasn't happened, so a youtown shamscum scenario is not possible.

I believe that each of the scums has 2 kills, and AV just looked at Zab after he performed the kill. it's that easy, imo.

Not if there's something screwy going on with the NK. If scum had rationed kills, there would have been two shots last night since individual abilities are tied to individuals and not factions. If there are no NKs then scum still has to win this game on lynches, so a little restraint is called for.

This one prospect basically decided the day's outcome. zabriel claimed that, while he did have a gun, he was not a betrayer. Nobody else believed him.

Eventually, he'd had enough.

zabriel walked slowly over to RobertMontana's corpse, still hanging from the rope. He slowly slipped out a gun...

...and placed it in RobertMontana's pocket.

Nobody else moved. They were all curious as to what he would do next.

Still moving slowly, zabriel stood on a chair and loosened the knot around RobertMontana's neck. The body fell limply to the floor with a loud thud. Next, zabriel wrapped the rope around his own neck, tightened it, and kicked the chair out from under his own feet.

Everyone else took this as his admission of guilt; they could care less about stopping him.

A few minutes later, they approached the body and searched it for any more clues they could find, but came up empty. They knew he was a betrayer, but... they knew they weren't done yet.

zabriel has been lynched. He was a betrayer. Congratulations. Night 2 begins now and lasts until 6 PM CDT on 10/15/12.

The group slept peacefully that night. Almost too peacefully, given that they knew their danger had not passed. Though they praised AurorusVox for exposing a traitor the previous day, that only made him a bigger threat to the remaining betrayer...

...so it was little surprise to anyone that he was laying on the floor next to DoubleJD on the following morning. A bullet had gone through his back and through his heart. The pool of blood surrounding DoubleJD had dried by the time night ended, but AurorusVox's fresh blood all but obscured last night's victim's.

Today was the final day. They had no room for mistakes. 3 men stood in the room, and one of them was a betrayer to the other two.

AurorusVox has been killed. He was a loyal mafia member and weapons expert.

Just kidding, Imma do this now.

I think shos is town. His expression of interest in lynching DJD looks like a townslip to me - I don't see scum-shos forgetting who he nightkilled. Now, certainly it's possible that this was fabricated deliberately in order to give that impression, but that would imply a level of careful calculatedness that I just don't see in shos's play. I also am reading his posts during D2 as fairly genuine attempts to find scum.

Theamatuer has been lurking a lot but his wait-and-see demeanor seems much more likely to come from scum. This D1 vote is quite bad:

Especially given that this was after AV accidentally said DJD instead of RM in his scumlist.
I also don't like at all his lack of comment on the gunsmith situation, or the way he decided to cast suspicion on shos instead of just hammering.

I would like to hear from both of you if there is anything I'm missing.
