If someone is roleblocked and tracked, would you tell the tracker who they tried to target?
Trackers, like a cop, would receive "no result", which is different from "x visited nobody" (or however the heck I'd word their target going nowhere), so they could tell just as easily as a cop that they had been roleblocked.

Edit:
Oh, just realized what you meant. :P

If someone is roleblocked and tracked, NAR applies--since the block happens before the track, that means that stopping the person from performing their action happens before the tracker would see them attempting it. (Or in flavor terms...again, the roleblocker stops them from performing the action, and isn't magically sabotaging their action to fail immediately after it's attempted.)

In other words, the tracker sees the roleblocked person visit nobody, since they (when roleblocked) never actually did.

...Though that said, it kinda depends on the wording in the RB's PM.

If their PM says they cause an action to fail, it implies the action is attempted, but has a 0% success rate.
If their PM says they stop/block the action, it implies the action never happens.

No because you were dead set against a cyber lynch. You said at one point that a swing to cyber probably wasn't going to happen.

I don't disagree there, but he could have at least put forth a bit more effort.

KJ, everything said from my end was not meant to be personal. I was just trying to win. You and Jake kicked my ass, so GG to you both.

The fake claim was a poor claim I admit, but it was either that or be lynched. Maybe I panicked a tad bit too early. I suck when o play scum...

For the record, if I were scum I would never target a claimed Commuter over a claimed VT. I just didn't want to bring it up mid-game and sound like scum for it! So while you'd have to ask Kthx why he made the choice that he did, I do believe it was the right one.

No worries, the only thing that came close to bothering me was the sideswipe about volunteering. I really enjoy what I do :)

If Cyber is a RBer then Kthx, if town, shoots KJ and we win at night.
If an RBer flips and Kthx shoots no one, well...hijinks and amusement happen the next day.
If Cyber is a goon then we get to play the game again tomorrow with the hard choice, but I'll be dead and will magically pick the right scum in the Dead QT after reading Zipper mentioning who it is, I will claim to have always had that knowledge, and keep screaming over and over about 'how obvious' it all is and bemoan how bad everyone is playing.

My memory feels vindicated.

I meant Cyber-shift as regards 'Cyber shifting his vote'
Read my quote in context with what came before it. That's why it's 'not even possible for a week' and also 'not likely' - because the slot was vacated.

GG everyone :D

Followed this quite closely - nervewracking!

What I don't get is - why did nobody believe i was a cop? Or why did nobody except Jake back off when I claimed? I was looking forward to collecting a couple of nights results before I flipped :D although I guess without a doc I'd have been dead night 1 anyway...

Play style differences I guess :(

I should have realized your very carefully laid out claim was too explicit to come from scum.

I should have realized your RVS post WAS a towntell.

I should have counterwagoned Kthx who legitimately was making up bullshit upon replacing in, lol.

The thing that most surprised me about this game was that there was never any discussion about the Mafia killing somebody that kthx was instructed to target, thus legitimizing the vig claim. This is probably a little too techy, but what if the Mafia had killed zipper the day after kthx somehow averted his lynch with his claim? kthx claims credit, Cyber's the GF and likely can't be found out, and might could even claim credit for somehow preventing the kill later in the game. Obviously this might be going a little too deep, and the Mafia had no way to know the town was essentially out of PRs, but the fact that no thought was ever given to trying to keep the vig claim from tanking surprised me.

I was half-buying the 1 shot vig claim jsut because I felt that the commute was so weak, there must have been SOME role out there to give the town a benefit with it. And the 1x vig kind of made since because a succesful commute could either prevent a mis-vig or work with the vig to bring the game to odds
