Assuming neither player without immunity wants to suicide I'll just go with they're cross voting each other and DV's vote is the only one I need.

xofelf, the tribe has spoken.

I'm going to check with Mehdi to be sure the usual procedures are in place, so don't start asking questions or making arguments just yet.

Final Tribal Council

Here is how Final Tribal will work:

  1. Snakes and DeasVail have 24 hours from this post to post an opening statement. Please keep it concise and make sure it reflects your thoughts, not past players.
  2. After they post their opening statement, Jurors will have 48 hours to ask a question to each player, or to make a statement. Please refrain from carrying on discussions with the finalists or each other, that's not what this time is for.
  3. After the questioning period is over, the finalists will have an additional 24 hours to finish answer questions and post a closing statement.
  4. Jurors will then submit votes for the winner. No votes will be accepted until this stage.

Snakes and DeasVail now have 24 hours to post opening statements. I would ask that the jurors shut up until they have done so.

Also, stop trying to make torchwalk happen. It's not going to happen.

My thoughts... well I don't really know what to say.

The biggest thing I'm thinking as I reflect on this game is that despite the mistakes I made (especially my general fumbling around after Klick's departure), I managed to get here in the end and I really feel my play got better as the game went on. In the beginning, I didn't talk to as many people as I should have, and despite being the 'leader' of Deas' Angles, apart from making sure challenge submissions actually happened I didn't do much 'leading' at all. This was fine with me and as this game as shown, maybe it was for the best, but I don't think I would have been able to be much of a leader even if I had wanted to. :P

I had allies, and I'm pretty sure I was quite safe early in the game. However, I got the (incorrect?) impression that I was on the outside of a tighter alliance and when the opportunity came to change the game a little and form a stronger alliance, I decided to take it. Since then, I've been confused over whether I made the right decision, for example whether my chances would have been better with my original allies, or if my new alliance was as close as I thought it was. These things are actually a large part of my thoughts right now.

Anyway, after the merge and Klick's exit, I was really stuck as to what to do, and the situation kind of left me stuck between two alliances and I think everyone hated me. :P I don't know how to continue without reflecting on past players too much, but whenever I had to pick a side, I picked the one which I felt would most benefit me. I think I was a lot more active in solidifying my position in the game from this point than I was before and made much more of an effort to talk to people who I felt I'd be able to work with, and these connections (particularly one of them) were instrumental in getting me here.

I'm sorry if this is all wrong or if I rambled too much or if it was too short/too long. Oh there are so many things that could be wrong! D: But yeah, I can't think of anything else to say right now except that I've enjoyed this game and thanks to everyone involved. :)

That's what YOU think. Nothing says the Final 2 won't do them.

Also, it's not that Snakes and I were going to cross vote. Neither of us was planning on voting anyways, since no penalty, once DV got immunity.

Hello lady and gentlemen of the Jury. I want to say that going into this game, I had no idea that I would be sitting here in the Final Two. To have outlasted 22 strong competitors is not something that I take lightly. I knew that going into this game, I would be seen as a threat based on my performance in Survivor Middle Earth. Additionally, I was new to this site, and I had barely talked with anyone. In a non-anonymous game, this really hurt me because I didn't have the necessary social connections with that many others did. In Survivor, to be seen as a threat without having support is pretty much a death sentence. Even before the game started that I had two strikes against me.

I
knew
going into this game that I would have to play a different game from what I did before. I could not go around being a social butterfly or a visible leader. People would be looking for that. I knew that I had to adapt my game, keep a low profile, and stay under the radar. And you know what? My strategy worked. I was able to play a pretty much perfect under the radar game. Because I never won a challenge, I was vulnerable at every single vote. Despite this,
I never received even a single vote at Tribal Council
. For someone who had a big target on their back to achieve this is very impressive. But just because I played under the radar does not mean that I did
nothing
in this game. In each tribe I was in, I tried to be proactive and make connections and talk to other people, to assure my safety at Tribal Council. Even though I wasn't a leader, I was a valued ally for a lot of people, and I held power in this game.

Finally, I wanted to address an issue that I know will come up. In this game, I voted off a couple of people who I was close to. I'm trying to keep this speech short and not make Xalxe mad, so I won't get into the specifics. But if anyone wants to ask me why I voted for them, go ahead and don't hold anything back. From the way I see it, I was able to stay loyal to all of my allies, both from the Dveils and from Chaos. I was able to get all of my closest allies to the Final 5/6, with one exception (which was out of my control). Once in the endgame, I had to make some very tough decisions. No matter what I did, I would be voting off a close ally. What I tried to do was to think about whose elimination would be the best for my game, and vote for them. I tried not to hurt anyone, and if I did, I am very sorry, but I was playing to win.

Good luck DV.

Questioning begins here:

To DeasVail:
1. Why did you bring Snakes into the finals, especially after him winning Middle Earth?
2. The post-merge alliance including me would have let you in after merge, but I was told that you had denied us. Why?

To Snakes:
1. Who did you vote in the F8 Tribal (when I was eliminated)? Even with the powerup Kdowns had, one person had to have backstab someone in the alliance (it could have been me, it could have been Xofelf voted). Was this you? Because I can guarantee that it was one of us four.
2. Why do you think DeasVail chose you over Xofelf for the F2?

To Both:
1. Why do you deserve to win?
2. Why would your opponent deserve to win?
3. Someone, possibly Snakes, when talking to me in AIM soon before my elimination, predicted the F2 to be Kdowns and Nicholas1024. Thoughts?
4. Probably a useless question, but if everything went your way, what would be your most ideal order of eliminations from F8 to F2?

Statement:
I feel that we are currently a hung jury. This Q/A can do wonders for either of you.

@Both

I agree, torchwalks would be much appreciated. Anyway, after much effort, I have hereby organized a comprehensive list of jury questions that will be taken into account when I vote.

Spoiler: Jury Questions
  • How would you rank the various jurors regarding both how well they played, and their chances in a jury vote?
  • Is the statement "This statement is false" true or false?
  • What was the single worst challenge from this game?
  • How many challenges did you consider as the answer for the above question?
  • On a scale from 1-10, how badly will this list of questions annoy Xalxe?
  • What was the one TC that you wish you could have changed?
  • How many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie roll center of a Tootsie roll pop?
  • How many times can you integrate a C2 function?
  • Estimate the number of players that actually tried to win this game.
  • Your previous estimate is too high, please fix it.
  • Who do you think was the least trustworthy this game?
  • To be, or not to be?
  • Are you planning on joining Arkham Asylum when it eventually runs?
  • What's the best argument as to why your opponent should win?
  • What was your strategy for merge?
  • Do you realize that Chuck Norris has already won?
  • Which players died early that you think would have made an impact?
  • Who are you in Sky Pillar?

  • What's the scouter say about the seriousness level?
  • If a tree falls in the forest, and there's nobody there to hear it, does it make a sound?
  • Which juror's vote do you think you're least likely to get?
  • Dragonite vs Gothmog FTC, who wins?
  •
  • What's one challenge you wish was included in this game?
  • Who didn't deserve to make the jury?
  • How did the initial "Talk with everyone" twist change your strategy?
  • Will Ani ever not get backstabbed by kdowns?
  • Can you summarize this game in 6 words or less?
  • Did anyone ever figure out who Larvitar was?
  • How amusing has this list been?
  • Did you click this link?
  • Which of the previous questions do you think will be most important for my jury vote?
